God Save Birmingham Heads to…Birmingham!

[p]Survivors,[/p][p][/p][p]Did you know there’s a gaming event in Birmingham next week? (That’s the one in the UK, not Alabama!) From November 12 - 13, the To the Moon Expo will open its doors to players, creators, and developers alike–and of course, we couldn’t resist bringing God Save Birmingham to its hometown crowd. After all, only the locals can appreciate the game at a level that truly hits home.[/p][p]If you’ll be at the event, come say hi. Unlike our zombies, we don’t bite! We’d love to meet you![/p][p][/p][p]That said, we’ll be keeping a relatively small presence at the show as the trip is more of a research mission for our dev team. We’re planning to visit iconic Birmingham spots like the Bull Ring market and the Jewellery Quarter, St. Paul’s Square, Selly Manor Museum, and of course the Birmingham Museum.[/p][p]We’re actually trying to work with Birmingham Museum team to ensure we recreate medieval Birmingham as authentically as possible in all its grandeur, grime, and everything in between.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We can’t wait to immerse ourselves in the city’s energy, meet its people, and wander through its streets IRL to better capture the spirit of Birmingham.
