Pebble Knights Demo Patch Notes - Update 0.38.2

[p][/p][p]Hello, Pebble Knights![/p][p][/p][p]In this update, we focused on adding Legendary Traits and Demon Debuffs that introduce new variables to combat, along with improving the visibility of the Kingdom Upgrade system.[/p][p][/p][p]We also made several combat balance adjustments based on the valuable feedback from our knights.[/p][p][/p][h3]\[Knights’ Appreciation][/h3][p]This patch was also made possible thanks to the many insights and feedback shared by knights from around the world.[/p][p]We will continue to improve what needs fixing and strengthen what makes the game fun so that Pebble Knights keeps getting better with every update.[/p][p]Thank you sincerely for every piece of feedback you share with us.[/p][p][/p][p]Please check the details below.[/p][p][/p][h2]\[System Additions & Improvements][/h2]

    • [p]2 New Legendary Traits Added: One Shot One Kill and Fatal Strike have been added, delivering even more powerful combat moments.[/p]
    • [p] 2 New Demon Debuffs Added: The Last Supper and Clumsy Forging have been introduced, making choices in Demon Rooms more tense and impactful.[/p]
  • [p] Kingdom Upgrade System Rework[/p]
    • [p]The Kingdom Upgrade system has been improved so knights can make more strategic growth choices.[/p]
    • [p]Upgrade options and weapon options are now clearly separated, making it easier to see and select the upgrades you need.[/p]

  • [p]Weapon & Trait Adjustments[/p]
    • [p]Mace: The weapon’s performance and functionality have been fully reworked to deliver a heavier and more destructive impact.[/p]
    • [p]Dark Traits: The chance for Dark Traits to appear earlier in a run has been increased to support more strategic builds.[/p]
  • [p]AI (Bot) & Quality of Life Improvements[/p]
    • [p] Fixed an issue where AI companions would occasionally stop moving during adventures, resulting in smoother team play.[/p]

    • [p] Improved the boss attack warning visuals and experience gain feedback to be more intuitive.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed an issue where AI exposed to a specific boss pattern would stop acting.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed a bug where giant grass enemies could occasionally spawn in excessive numbers.[/p]
  • [p]Quality of Life & Stability[/p]
    • [p]Fixed a bug where monsters could enter the lobby.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed a bug where certain demon debuffs carried over into the next run.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed cases where certain actions, such as grave eating, did not work properly during multiplayer in specific areas.[/p]
    • [p]Polished some translation text and fixed issues where the wrong language could appear.[/p]

[p][/p][p]Hello, Pebble Knights![/p][p][/p][p]Early Access is just around the corner![/p][p][/p][p]To thank all the knights who sincerely enjoyed the demo and supported us along the way, we’ve prepared a major update that brings a deeper and richer adventure.[/p][p][/p][h3]\[v0.38.0 Highlights][/h3]
  • [p]Major Content Additions: 14 new Traits, 21 new Badges, new weapons, and a full rework of Angel/Devil Rooms.[/p]
  • [p]Combat Improvements: Extreme Critical system added and boss battles rebalanced.[/p]
  • [p]Community Feedback Implemented: Improved AI (Bots) and a rework of Kick Traits[/p]
  • [p]Leaderboard Reset: Demo leaderboard reset following the major balance update[/p]

    • [p]14 new Traits added, enabling more diverse build combinations.[/p]
    • [p]Collect three of the same Trait to evolve it instantly.[/p]
  • [p] Kick Trait Balance Adjustments[/p]
    • [p]Kick-related Traits have been rebalanced to support a distinct Kick build playstyle.[/p]
  • [p] “Find a Loyalist” Balance Adjustment[/p]
    • [p] The cost now increases progressively, adding more strategic resource management. (Cost resets daily.)[/p]

  • [p]New Badges[/p]
    • [p] You can now choose individual weapons directly during Kingdom upgrades instead of selecting from a weapon category.[/p]
    • [p] 21 new Badges have been added, expanding team-building strategies.[/p]

  • [p]Weapon System Update[/p]
    • [p]Weapon tiers expanded to 7 levels, making progression more noticeable.[/p]
    • [p]3 new weapons added to expand combat options.[/p]
  • [p] Extreme Critical System[/p]
    • [p]Critical damage changed from fixed 130% → 130%–200% variable.[/p]
    • [p]When enemies are Groggy or Stunned, Extreme Critical can deal up to 1000% damage. [/p]
  • [p]Boss Battle Improvements & Audio/Visual Updates[/p]
    • [p]Boss patterns and difficulty adjusted to increase combat tension.[/p]
    • [p]Overall balance improved for smoother gameplay.[/p]
    • [p]Boss HP bar visuals updated and boss battle music replaced.[/p]
