Pebble Knights Demo Patch Notes - Update 0.34.6

New Features & Improvements
[p][/p][h2]Merchant System Overhaul[/h2]
  • [p]The merchant has become more dynamic.[/p]
    • [p]New entrance and exit animations have been added. The merchant now roams the map and sells items directly.[/p]
    • [p]When the merchant appears, their location is marked on the bottom-right UI of the screen.[/p]
[h2]Weapon Improvements[/h2]
  • [p]"Hold to attack" is now maintained even after reloading ranged weapons.[/p]
  • [p]Some weapons now have bonus critical hit chance:[/p]
    • [p]High Heels, Stone Sword: +3%[/p]
    • [p]Spear, Throwing Star, Reaper’s Scythe: +5%[/p]
    • [p]Shuriken (Kunai), Karambit: +10%[/p]
[h2]Convenience & Accessibility[/h2]
  • [p]For streamers, all background music has been replaced with original tracks free from copyright issues.[/p]
  • [p]A feature has been added to prevent photosensitive seizures:[/p]
    • [p] A flashing light warning is shown when the game starts, and a new 'Flash Protection Mode' is available in settings.[/p]
[h2]Optimization[/h2]
  • [p] General performance has been improved to reduce in-game lag.[/p]

Bug Fixes
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the merchant would occasionally not bring any items.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where critical hit chance was unintentionally reduced in certain situations.[/p]
  • [p] Fixed rare cases where the host connection would drop or the game would crash.[/p]

Pebble Knights Demo Hotfix (250626)

Thanks to your valuable feedback and gameplay data, we've rolled out a hotfix to address urgent balance adjustments and bug fixes.

Game Balance

Trait Changes[/h2]
  • [p]Sleep Paralysis: Now evolves faster.[/p]
    • [p]Time to meet the evolution condition "Don't attack" has been reduced (70s → 50s)[/p]
  • [p]Hug Me: You can now heal allies more effectively.[/p]
    • [p] Healing range increased (0.8 → 1.2)[/p]
  • [p]Medic Kick: Now more viable for strategic use thanks to increased healing.[/p]
    • [p]Healing amount increased (10 → 20)[/p]
[h2]Monster Changes[/h2][p]Rafflesia returns as a more overwhelming threat.[/p]
  • [p]Its vines now have longer reach and attack range. If you fail to escape in time, you’ll be inflicted with Poison.[/p]
  • [p]While caught in the vines, other monsters can still track and attack the player.[/p]
  • [p]The number of Rafflesia units has been reduced.[/p]
[h2]Team Upgrade Changes[/h2][p]Vending Machine: Now provides more items, and more quickly.[/p]
  • [p]Hits required to activate reduced (8~15 → 5~10)[/p]
  • [p]Jackpot chance for extra item drops increased (5% → 10%)[/p][p][/p]
Bug Fixes
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the text shown while struggling in a grabbed state displayed in the wrong language regardless of settings.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the Join or Create Room buttons would occasionally become unresponsive.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where non-king players would sometimes not see the selection badge on the right side.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the "Body Slam" trait could trigger on already dead enemies.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some Angel and Devil room badges not functioning correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the King could lift dead, invisible allies.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a pathing issue where players (including AIs) could block each other’s movement.[/p]

New Features & Improvements

  • Learn the rules and controls with the new tutorial. Great for first-time players.


[h2]AI(Bot) Improvements[/h2]
  • AI behavior has been refined to avoid interfering with player actions.


[h2]Other Changes[/h2]
  • Selected badges and traits are now clearly displayed on the Team Upgrade and Trait Evolution screens.
  • The merchant NPC now has a stronger presence.
  • The King can now swing a Pebble Knight and steal their weapon.


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where ready item remained after leaving the lobby.
  • Fixed a bug where the cursor overlapped some UI text.
  • Fixed occasional disconnection issues with the host.
  • Fixed inaccurate DPS readings in the lobby’s sandbag.
  • Fixed a rare bug where nothing appeared during the King's trait evolution.
