Game Update!

Another build just went live with a few updates and fixes.

  • Everything should now work with a controller, and it should now feature Full Controller Support. If something is not working with a controller, please let me know.
  • The special gift for the female Bigfoot should keep the heart icon attached to it.
  • The invert Y setting should now load correctly when you start your game.
  • A few more minor optimization fixes.

Update suggestions and opinion on artwork.

I am currently working on some updates for Bigfoot Life. I thought it would be good to reach out to players of the game and possible future players to get some feedback and suggestions.

  • Are there any current issues or bugs still that need fixed? If so, what are they?
  • What are some things that you would like to see in an update? It could be more animals, features, etc.


Not saying everything will get added in the update but getting feedback from actual players of the game will help out a lot.

I have received some feedback from a few people that the current steam capsule and artwork for the game needs to be improved. Before I make any changes, I again thought I should reach out and get players or future player feedback on it

I have been working with an artist and below is what I have now for the possible new artwork for the steam capsule and small header thumbnail for the game. I wanted to make sure I got feedback from the community before making any actual changes.

The artwork on the left is the current Steam Capsule. The artwork on the right would be the potential new artwork for the steam capsule.

ARTWORK UPDATE

After some feedback from a few other places I have made some changes to the new possible artwork to have the face look more like the original one.



Would love to know your thoughts. I still may leave the original artwork as is, but I am exploring possible new artwork.

It means so much to me to everyone who has played the game. feedback from actual players of the game or future players I think is really important. I value all of your opinions.

Another Small Patch

Another update just went live.

-There was a bug that sometimes would not allow you to enter another Bigfoots Cave when you were at Bigfoot Level 4. This should now be fixed and as long as you are at Bigfoot Level 4 or have Bigfoot Speed Level 2 you should be able to enter the cave. I wanted to address this one right away because it could prevent you from moving on to Level 5.

Thanks again to everyone who has played and supported the game. I am doing my best to address any issues and make this the best game it can be.

Small Patch

A new build just went live. There was an issue where if you were to roar while doing things like eating or picking up it could sometimes make things unresponsive. This should now be fixed in this latest update.

Another Game Update Now Live!

Another update for Bigfoot Life is Live. I can't believe the game has been out for almost a week. I am so thankful to everyone who has played the game. It means so much to me.

Updates and Fixes


[h3]Added color outline to current selections in the bigfoot creator[/h3]



[h3]You can no longer drop items in water.[/h3]


A message will show up letting you know that you can not drop the item in water.

[h3]Added text to collectibles so players know F Drops the item. [/h3]

I noticed some players were getting confused on how to actually collect the human items. To collect them correctly you just drop them in any shelter or your home base.

  • Changed default beginning camera to normal third person view
  • More Optimizations
  • You now start with Bigfoot Strength in free roam mode.
