November 6 Update: Bug fixes

  • [p]Added extra logging for an issue where some players occasionally see an incorrect (not updated) hostility level in the Statistics panel or port infocard on the Peace server. [/p]
    • [p]If you encounter this, please send an in-game report via F11. [/p]
    • [p]A temporary workaround that may help is to restart the game.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue that could switch the crew to Gunnery Focus on decks disabled via F5.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue that prevented looting the Redoutable after it sank.[/p]

October 31 Update: Raider Port Battles Adjustments

[p]Captains,
[/p][p]In today’s update, October 31, we adjusted the composition and score values for NPC ships in Raider Port Battles.[/p]
  • [p]For all Raider Port Battles (shallow and deep) the NPC lineup is now 12 warships and 4 trader ships.[/p]
  • [p]Points awarded to trader ships for entering the capture zone lowered from 325 to 150.[/p]
  • [p]Points awarded to warships for entering the capture zone increased from 15 to 35.[/p]
  • [p]For ports with BR 1450 and BR 325 the NPC ship composition has been adjusted (made easier).[/p]

The End of Conquest Truce on the Caribbean Server

[/p][p]Conquest missions are available after today’s daily maintenance on October 30.[/p]

October 28 Update: Patrol Thresholds & Ship Speeds

[p]Captains,[/p][p]Following changes were applied today, October 28:[/p]
  • [p]Patrol Damage Thresholds reduced by 40%[/p]
  • [p]Speed of Interceptors (5th rates) and Light Interceptors (6th–7th rates) increased by 0.25-0.29 knots[/p]
  • [p]Speed of Trader ships decreased by 0.25 knots[/p]

October 24 Update: Looting Time Increased

  • [p]The time available to loot sunk ships has been significantly increased.[/p]
  • [p]Ships with a completely destroyed internal structure now sink faster. To slow flooding from structural leaks, stop the ship and start repairing the hull. This also patches the internal structure and reduces flooding.[/p]
  • [p]Other Changes[/p]
    • [p]Minor UI improvements for new players.[/p]
    • [p]Tobacco, Fish Meat, Medicinal Bark, and Molasses have been moved from the Food tab to the Resource tab in the Port Shop.[/p]
