Dev Diary V - What We’ve Been Working On!

We’ve been hard at work on Town to City, so we thought we would showcase a little bit of what we’ve been working on recently.
[/p][h3]TWITCH INTERGRATION[/h3][p]
We’ve been having a lot of fun working on Twitch integration for Town to City! With this new feature, if a Twitch streamer plays Town to City, viewers who send a message will have a citizen assigned to them and be able to see their message. Twitch Streamer MimiChair tried this out for the first time on her stream, and people loved to see themselves walking in the town!

If you rename a citizen in your town, their name will show above that citizen!

[/p][h3]ANIMATRONIC FLOWER MONUMENT[/h3][p]
Animator Milou made this animatronic flower monument! Twice a day, it will open for a small show, then close again. Artist Alejandra took these beautiful shots of it!

The monuments in Town to City are special items that can be unlocked in the tech tree by having enough citizens and a high happiness level. Each monument can only be placed once within the city!
[/p][h3]APOTHECARY BUILDING[/h3][p]
An apothecary building fit for a growing town! Made by Galaxy Grove artist Jan, this apothecary building is the perfect place for your citizens to pick up their remedies.

[/p][h3]GRANARY BUILDING[/h3][p]
The Granary serves a similar purpose as the Warehouse, but for farms. The Granary also distributes produce to certain shops that need fresh produce!

As requested by a lot of demo players, we have been working on the ability to choose whether a newly drawn road replaces already existing roads or not!

And those are just some of the many aspects we’ve been working on for the release! We have really appreciated everyone’s feedback on the demo, and we’re so excited for everyone to see what else we have in store for Town to City.
