[h3]Unity Engine v6 Transition[/h3] We’re thrilled to announce that our project will transition to Unity’s new Engine v6! This upgrade will bring significant enhancements, including:
- Improved Performance: Experience smoother gameplay with optimized rendering and resource management.
- Enhanced Visuals: Take advantage of advanced graphics capabilities, allowing for more realistic environments and character models.
- Better Physics: Enjoy improved physics interactions, making the game world feel more dynamic and responsive.
- New Features: Access the latest tools and functionalities available in Unity v6, allowing us to implement innovative gameplay mechanics and visual effects.

- Graphics Settings Fix: Settings will now save correctly, ensuring your preferences are applied.
- Alien Invasion UFOs: Look up at night to see UFOs searching for survivors! You may encounter a rare alien with out-of-this-world items!
- Permadeath Option: Choose to enable or disable permadeath for not eating or drinking.
- Gameplay Showcase Update: The Steam store page will feature gameplay footage for both single-player and multiplayer modes.
- New Launcher: Easily load into single-player, co-op, or multiplayer game modes, report bugs, and view credits.
- XP Bar and Leveling System: Track your progress with the new XP bar! Leveling up grants boosts to HP, hunger, thirst, stamina, bag space, and carry weight.
- Blueberry Saving: You can now save blueberries even when your health and thirst are at 100%.
- Resource Requirements Update: The needed resources for log buildings are now rope, sticks, and logs. Stone will be coming soon!
- New Props and Buildings: A variety of new props and buildings have been added, with more on the way!
- Map Update: The previous lake map has been replaced with a new design featuring suburban hills and diverse environments!
- Steam SDK Integration: Improved interaction with Steam features.

Multiplayer Game Modes: Features one map with three game modes:
- Slaughter (FFA): Free-for-all combat.
- Team Slaughter (TDM): Team-based deathmatch.
- Capture the Crawler (CTF): A unique capture-the-flag style game.
[h3]Gameplay Improvements:[/h3]
- Armor Adjustments: Higher-tier armor now effectively increases your HP and damage resistance.
- Physical Colliders: Added physical colliders to all trees for improved realism and interaction.
- Increased Resource Nodes: More resource nodes and prefabs have been added for improved gameplay balance, including cloth nodes that can be found on objects like couches and other furniture.
[h3]Bug Fixes:[/h3]
- Building Save Issue: Resolved the problem where buildings were not saved upon loading.
- Collision Fix: Players can no longer walk through buildings, improving immersion.
- Zombie Behavior Adjustments: Fixed issues with zombies being immune to damage in the tutorial and corrected hitboxes, also zombies can no longer chase you through objects.
- Menu Resolution/Settings Fixes: Adjusted settings for displays above 1080p to prevent crashes, also all settings can now be saved correctly.
- Shooting Range Redesign: Enhanced the shooting range for a better learning experience.
- Saveable Objects Progress: Continued improvements on saving objects in the game.
- Crafting Balances: Refined resource requirements for better game balance.

- Other Platforms Coming Soon: We’re excited to announce plans for releasing on additional platforms in the future!
- Controller Support: Full controller support will be introduced in the next patch for a better gameplay experience.
- 31 New Weapons and Guns: Get ready for an expanded arsenal with 31 new melee and ranged weapons!
- Easter Eggs and Achievements: Discover hidden Easter eggs and unlock achievements to enhance your gameplay experience!
- More Maps for Multiplayer: Expect new maps to enrich your multiplayer experiences!
- Co-op Game Mode for Single Player: A co-op game mode will be added for the open world experience.
- New Game Mode – Outlast: Experience the new Outlast game mode in multiplayer, similar to CoD Zombies!
- Open World Items: Working on adding open world items that can be placed inside buildings.
- Zombie Drop Table: A new zombie drop table will enhance the loot system.
- Zombie Animation and SFX Fixes: Improvements to zombie animations and sound effects for a more immersive experience.
