Fixes/Changes of the last two patches

[/p][p]Here's an update of what was changed/added in the past couple of patches.
Also, sorry It took a little bit to get these out some of them have been fixed for days but I was trying to also get some other things into the patch before releasing.[/p][p]

  • [p]Added some UI to the Cooking Pots and Juice Barrels, when hovering over those buildings you will now see the progress, as well as when you hover over the items when swapping recipes they will now show the names.[/p]
  • [p]Added missing description of Hedge Fence[/p]
  • [p]Slightly adjusted some ui[/p]
  • [p]Now can zoom out further[/p]
  • [p]Fixed rounding issues which was causing stuff like 1240 to be rounded to "12,k" instead of "1.2k"[/p]
  • [p]Changed rounding from midpoint to towards zero.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed oat juice not having a name.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed translations for Jelly/Jam/Juice sometimes having their suffix removed[/p]
  • [p]Fixed visibility button disappearing with progress goals when completing all of them.[/p]
  • [p]Sprinklers now show their range when hovered over[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted water particles of longer range sprinklers[/p]
  • [p]Fixed playtime rounding displayed in the save slots in the main menu[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some performance issues with Inventory[/p]
  • [p]Did some big performance improvements, 4 improvements which average to ~91% better performance of those.[/p]
  • [p]Cut some unnecessary calculations[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Tree taps not visually showing as filled[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with area planting[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Great Sprinkler saying the wrong range.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Shop & Inventory tabs not being sized to fit the width of the menu.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed notifications of the shop items being visible outside the menu.[/p]

  • [p]Loading back in sometimes malfunctions, causing a clearing of some amount of your farm. (possibly fixed)[/p]
  • [p]Autoseeder gets stuck, sometimes doesn't detect empty plantable tiles next to it, and sometimes also repeatedly tries to plant the same already planted tile.[/p]
  • [p]Strange visuals with the fellas after a while of playing.[/p]
  • [p]Clicking outside the window then back in with the middle mouse shifts the camera randomly[/p]

I changed the way that Jelly sprites look, so should be a little easier to identify at a glance.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Also Added ability to place Tree taps on non fully grown trees. (represented by the slightly transparent Tree Tap that that fella is standing behind)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3](as of v0.90.649.7339)[/h3][h3] ๐Ÿ”จHere are some things that I have fixed/changed.[/h3]

  • [p]Fixed progress goal requirements adding "juice"/"jelly"/"jam" to the end of items that don't need it[/p]

[p][/p][p]Note for the save files getting messed up sometimes:
I think it was to do with saves being started and the game only finished part of it before the game then quit(from the few people I had asked, they were playing on Linux, so potentially proton was changing the way my code for waiting for the save to finish before fully closing the game was being messed with).

I believe I should have it fixed, but if you are playing the game currently, the safest way to make sure the save finishes is by returning to the main menu before quitting the game. [/p][p][/p][p]And if it does happen to be a loading issue, I've added some stuff so that one failed tile(whether it be a building or some other data that belongs to that tile) shouldn't mess up the rest of the farm loading.[/p][p][/p][p]I'll be working on a better loading system soon, to hopefully allow for better recovery of data if it gets messed up.

  • [p]Fixed the sorting tabs in the fellows menu being on top of eachother[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the levels of the guys not being saved.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the missing costs of some buildings[/p]
  • [p]Fixed different-level sprinklers functioning the exact same.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the ability to hotswap juices so that juice barrel would be harvested for a different juice than was currently being produced.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed beans being unharvestable, so now you should be able to progress past them.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed tutorials not saving (maybe fixed, I should say, it seems to be fixed sometimes, but just recently reverted for me.)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed ponds not loading back in. (They, however, aren't destroyable after loading yet.)[/p]

Release Update?

[p]Hello there, fellow Tiny Terrace enjoyers! ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒž [/p][p][/p][p]I've decided to swap the Tiny Terraces full release to an Early Access release. This doesn't mean I'm releasing with any less content, I'm just reclassifying what I consider to be v1.0. The release dates remain the same: July 31st for Steam, August 8th for Mobile(iOS & Android). The game will be released as version 0.9, and I plan to keep it in Early Access for approximately a few months before doing the v1.0 release.


I know this will make some people sad/mad, sorry about that. But I will continue to develop/update the game, adding even more content to the game as was already intended. I will continue posting videos/shorts to the VuVuu Inc. YouTube channel throughout the Early Access period (I'll try to target posting some sort of video every few days), so that you can see what's being worked on.

[/p][p]Also, recently, I showed off on the channel that I added a couple of buildings, the Juice Barrel and Cooking Pot.

As the name suggests, the Juice Barrel makes juice which is worth 2x the base product's price. Currently, it allows processing of all fruits, berries, melons, Coffee beans, Tea leaves, and some vegetables. [/p][p]
[/p][p]And the Cooking Pot currently can process Fruits into Jam worth 2.5x the base product's price, and Fruit Juices into Jelly worth 2x the Juice price.[/p][p][/p][p]
