Blam! Blam! Weekly Update 12 | New Maps / New Mode

Hi Everyone!

We had a another very eventful week!

We put together two more maps! Rig and Hedge. As a nice pairing to the new maps we added a new game mode! VIP! The goal is to protect whoever is marked, by a star overhead, as the VIP. If the VIP dies you lose a point. Be the last one with your VIP standing and you win!

Keep on your toes people may be in the hedge ready to jump out!

Hi Everyone!

We had a very eventful week with quite a few improvements and a few adds. The biggest being a new map called Battlefront!

Multiplayer:

  • ADD: Battlefront Map Added
  • ADD: Added minefields to Battlefront level
  • ADD: Screen transitions when selecting menu items and joining games
  • ADD: Settings Menu on main menu
  • FIX: Performance issues related to streaming game full screen resolved
  • FIX: Ready screen glitch on corridor showing objects before loading map.
  • FIX: Issue with HUD not showing Kill Bars Correctly for TDM and FFA
  • FIX: Corridor - gun turrets fixed and items spawn on clients (can be played)
  • FIX: Battlefront - mines displaying incorrectly on clients
  • FIX: Island - Performance enhancements for bombers
  • FIX: Corridor gun turret bullet speeds adjusted
  • FIX: Island bombers drop bombs again
  • FIX: Grenade throw charge progress visualizations on client

Blam! Blam! Weekly Update 9 & 10 | Playtesting / Tuning

Hi Everyone!

We are gearing up to prep for a demo release. Our little group is internally testing and trying to get it ready for an enjoyable experience.

We think in the next 2 months we should have a demo out for everyone to pick and play. As we get closer we'd like to reach out to everyone and see if there are other game modes or adjustments that they'd like to see.

Hi Everyone!

We made it to week 8 of updates! This last week we made strides to revamp our grenade mechanic. It was clunky and a little bit on the wacky side.

Notable Improvements:


Core:

  • NEW: Hold grenade button to throw further, or just tap to drop it. Progress bar below player shows
    throw strength
  • NEW: Grenade explosion area shown when thrown
  • NEW: Return to main menu back button for all the menus


Apocalypse:

  • FIX: Grenade Damage upgrade
  • FIX: Grenade Blast Radius upgrade
  • FIX: Extra Grenade count upgrade

Welcome to week 6 and 7 of our game updates!

Made some nice strides this week towards Blam! Blam! Polished up the game a little bit. Added a post processing engine to give a little polish.

  • NEW: UI Update to help streamline your return to the main menu screen in the multiplayer screen

  • Update: Fixed bug where XP orb vacuum could pull other vacuums.
  • Update: Balanced upgrade cards.
