Patch 1 - Interactions system, black screen on launch, cinematics, + more

[p]Hello Guardians![/p][p][/p][p]Our first patch for Roboquest VR is now LIVE. We're happy to finally have a solid fix for the black screen at launch, as well as many of the other major issues you've reported.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for all the feedback! We're working tirelessly to ensure Roboquest VR is in its best state, and your comments help us greatly.[/p][p][/p][p]Major:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed multiple issues leading to loss of interaction, making player unable to open doors. This was especially noticeable on Commando and Elementalist classes. We're keeping an eye out for more instances of this - your reports help![/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where certain open xr runtimes and headset combinations lead to a black screen when launching the game[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where certain open xr runtimes and headset combinations lead to intense juddering and very low fps despite good performance - we still recommend Quest headsets connect directly with Meta Link Openxr Runtime for the best experience![/p]
  • [p]Fixed multiple issues where loading and cinematics had a black screen, loading screens juddering, sometimes getting the player stuck on loading[/p]
[p]Bugfixes:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some of the minor rendering issues with Z fighting[/p]
  • [p]Snap turn no longer stops momentum[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the 25 wrenches were not assigned after giving a review[/p]
  • [p]Improved performance for water areas (hello Oasis!)[/p]
  • [p]Scope is setup correctly on Gorilla Bolter and the Vulture Rifle[/p]
  • [p]Empty clip onomatopoeia no longer shows when disabled[/p]
  • [p]Empty clip sound is now tied to volume control[/p]
  • [p]The Collector's screen should no longer appear on the player HUD[/p]
  • [p]The pixel density (screen resolution) for all non-quest headsets now applies correctly. This will give you the ability to either boost the rendering quality or boost performance depending on your setup.[/p]
[p]Quality of life:[/p]
  • [p]Add gun horizontal angle setting + related localization[/p]
  • [p]Improved the comic book outline effect when MSAA is on[/p]
  • [p]Improvements to weapon swap[/p]

  • [p]Performance issues, more aliasing in the basecamp[/p]
  • [p]Snap turn, or sometimes smooth turn, sometimes drives you off the path of the jump pads[/p]
