Patch #07: Spell Shortcuts, Biome Rotation and Bug Fixing

[p]Hello miners![/p][p][/p][p]It's been a full month since the game released! There are a lot of things I want to add in the game, something I cannot do without your support! So thank you so much. [/p][p][/p][p]Hold The Mine is also currently on sale at 20% off for few days as part of the Steam Spring Sales.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Today's patch is mostly focus on some quality of life improvements and bug fixes. I took a few days off after the last big update but now I'm back and fully dedicated to bring you the big update coming next month! I'll have more info to share really soon.   • [p]Fixed an issue preventing certain duplicate gems to show in the shop. [/p]

Patch #06: Balancing and Bug Fixes

[p]Hello miners![/p][p][/p][p]I hope you're having fun battling the bosses! Today I have small patch for you to buff several things (incl. heroes like Wizard and Huntress that are not as good as others) and address some bugs reported since the last update. [/p][p][/p]
Patch Notes - Version 0.7.35
[p][/p][h3]Balancing (+)[/h3]
  • [p]Increased minimum poison stack applied with Toxic Concoction (Alchemist Power) from 1 to 2. Maximum poison stack is unchanged (3).[/p]
  • [p]Decreased periodic cooldown of Ambush (Huntress Power) from 7 to 6 seconds.[/p]
  • [p]Decreased piercing chance malus with Piercing Shot (Huntress Power) from 25 to 20% (meaning it’s possible with a single attack to deal damage to 5 enemies instead of 4 maximum).[/p]
  • [p]Increased damage percentage of Bloodlust (Rogue Power) from 150 to 200% of Rogue base damage.[/p]
  • [p]Decreased periodic cooldown of Polymorph (Wizard Power) from 12 to 9 seconds.[/p]
  • [p]Increased damage percentage of Tornado (Wizard Power) from 25 to 50% of Wizard base damage.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue showing 4 damage per stack per second for Poison synergy instead of 1. Damage applied was correct.[/p]

Patch #05: Chaos Beasts Update

[p]Hello miners![/p][p][/p][p]It's time for the first big update in Hold The Mine: the Chaos Beasts Update! [/p][p][/p][p]This update introduces the first two bosses: the Mountain Dragon and the Giant Worm Duo. [/p][p][/p][p]Available in Lord Of Stones and King Under The Mountain difficulties, those bosses are respectively actives in the Mountain and the Volcano biomes and are here to cause you some trouble both day and night. And before you ask, yes the Frozen biome is still boss free... at least for now... but maybe not for long. [/p][p] [/p][p]The update also includes new buildings and relics, to provide more ways to specialize your build. I know it's still impossible to rely entirely on one single synergy, but that's something I'll keep improving over the next patches without removing the ability to play a mix of some. [/p][p][/p][p]Some important balancing changes come with this update, including several hero buffs, a big improvement of the curse synergy and the hospital building among other things.[/p][p][/p][p]Hold The Mine released just 3 weeks ago and I feel like the game already improved a lot. Thanks to your feedback, I'm sure I can make it even better in the coming weeks and months. You guys really share some really cool ideas I can wait to work on.   • [p]The leaderboard has been reset to take into account all the changes introduced. [/p]
  • [p]Building Information Panel has been updated. Building tooltip now displays the cost for building not built yet and linked synergies information, similar to relics and powers. This panel is accessible through the little House button near the Play/Pause button.[/p]
  • [p]Flying Skull Heads can now be affected by Death Mark and Hunter Mark as it doesn’t do direct effect or damage to them. They are still immune to status effects (Burn, Slow, Poison, Shock, Slow) and Knockback. [/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Siren Scream (Sea Witch power) visual effect would trigger as soon as you get the hero.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue preventing stats of the hero in battle to show the real and updated numbers when mouse hovering a hero at the surface.  [/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Group Pillar (Bastion power) bonus knockback would not be applied to Cursed Apostle and Necromancer.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where a tile covered by snow without something on the block would not show any tooltip, hinting it contains nothing.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue preventing any digging after looting a blueprint even when expedition is available.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue that could cause some music overlapping after the game is paused.[/p]

[p] [/p][h3]Known Issues[/h3][p]Several people experienced a bug with the previous patch causing the game to be locked into a loading screen. After investigating, the issue seems to be linked to the save file. It could be that the game is unauthorized to write/read the file or the save itself got corrupted. [/p][p]I added several safe checks with this update to prevent this issue from happening, but It's possible it doesn't prevent every cases. Patch #03: Puppeteer Workshop, Beer Stash, new Gems and more!

[p]Hello miners![/p][p][/p][p]Today's patch is adding 2 brand new buildings and 2 gems to add some diversity. [/p][p][/p][p]Many people asked why summons were not benefiting from the gems with on hit effects equipped by the hero invoking them. A fair criticism, especially since only one building is available to boost summons. The Puppeteer Workshop is here now, making this kind of benefit possible! Necromancer's minions and Wizard's Crows will be much deadlier now![/p][p][/p][p]Another building, the Special Beer Stash and 2 new Gems are also included in this patch, providing extra benefit to critical hit and poison synergies. [/p][p]It means gems giving status effects on hit to heroes also apply to the hero summons. Gems providing flat stat bonus are not concerned, as they were already benefiting to summons invoked by heroes (taking 50% of actual hero stats). [/p]
  • [p]New Gem: Hero Critical hits have 10% chance of becoming Brutal Critical Hits, dealing 500% of their base damage instead of 200%.[/p]

  • [p]Decreased the amount of enemies killed required to unlock the Berserker hero from 40,000 to 30,000.[/p]

  • [p]Increased the base move speed of the Slime enemy from 4 to 5.5.
