Among Us 3D 101 | Roles, Roles, Roles

[p]Quiet, Beans! Quiet![/p][p]Ah hem. Now that I have your attention, let me introduce myself. I am (adjunct) Professor Beanbus Percibean Airlock Brian Bumblebean. Please, please. Hold your applause until the end of the lecture.[/p][p]You can call me Professor B.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]As your go-to lecturer on Among Us 3D, it has come to my attention that many of you require a rudimentary refresher on roles. In the common tongue: knowing what to do and when in the game.[/p][p]Ah, but there's so many interwoven roles, which makes for thesis-worthy topics like the intricate dance of trust and betrayal, the Freudian undertones of the "Impostor" archetype, the Sisyphean nature of "tasks." It all weaves together to form the rich tapestry of Bean interaction.[/p][p]Therefore, I have deigned to produce a definitive, albeit cursory, examination of the various roles, or "archetypes," that one may encounter while exploring the vast emptiness of space. But for now, an introductory glimpse at the duality of upcoming roles, available this Thursday, October 2nd.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
The Guardian Angel
[p]A post-mortem paranormal entity with a surprisingly vested interest in the corporeal realm. When a Crewmate meets an untimely demise early in the game, they may return as a Guardian Angel, a spectral being with the ability to protect the living. A fascinating case of life after death, and one where the theological implications are just beginning to be studied.[/p]
• [p]"Good Guy" "Dead Bean"[/p]
• [p]Can use Protect to temporarily shield a living Crewmate from being killed[/p]
• [p]Cannot be seen or heard by living Beans[/p]
• [p]Can be seen and heard by other Ghosts, Guardian Angels, or Wraiths[/p]
• [p]Can still complete Tasks to achieve victory[/p]
• [p]Allied with Crewmates, Engineers, Vigilantes[/p]
[p][/p]

The Wraith
[p]Another spectral entity, but with a more... malevolent modus operandi. The Wraith works with the Impostor, but gains their nefarious powers only after death. A ghost with a grudge, if you will.[/p][p]
Able to kill Crewmates from beyond the pale, the Wraith can quickly turn the odds in favor of the Impostors. Your only defense is the Guardian Angel's shield ability and a musical warning to the Crewmates that a Wraith is near. Sleep tight, Beans![/p]
• [p]"Bad Guy" "Dead Bean"[/p]
• [p]Take out Crewmates to win[/p]
• [p]Can use Vents to hide or move around the map more efficiently while living[/p]
• [p]Can Sabotage various aspects of the map, such as doors or oxygen[/p]
• [p]While living, can "Become Wraith" to die and unlock the ability to Kill Crewmates[/p]
• [p]Cannot be seen by or talk to living Beans, however emits a foreboding sound when in the same room[/p]
• [p]Can be seen and heard by other Ghosts, Guardian Angels, or Wraiths[/p]
• [p]Does not have Tasks to complete[/p]
• [p]Allied with Impostors[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][p]Naturally, I've piqued your fascination thus far, yes? [/p][p]I cover the entire lesson plan of Roles in Lesson One of Among Us 3D 101. Yet, even more lectures on different topics will soon be available in the class syllabus. Please do be sure to bookmark and check back to this learning hub for anything you need to brush up on before the final exam.[/p][p]Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a grant proposal to write on the semiotics of cartoon hats in online social spaces. [/p][p][/p][p]Class dismissed.[/p]
