Fixed an issue that could cause a merchant's ownership of an item getting mixed up temporarily, resulting in the item not indicating that it would be stolen if taken (thus not refresh).


Another patch is being worked on now with some other fixes, just wanted to get this one up quickly. Thanks everyone!

Hello!

🔍 For those looking for potential guidance, we've added in a diegetic way for your guards to discuss their situation and perhaps jog your memory, based off things they've (you) have opened in your inventory or uncovered out exploring. It won't solve any puzzles, but it will suggest re-examining notes or locations of interest based on past dialogues.

This will be expanded upon, but for now allows for some various triggers depending on how far into the investigation your guards are!

To activate this, a guard need but say "help" or "quest" and they'll briefly discuss their priority.

⚠️☁️ We noticed some steam cloud sync settings that may have caused interruptions during the uploads for some players. This was resolved earlier this morning, but may have caused some issues with certain games (players with Steam Cloud turned off or GoG users on here would be unaffected). We're investigating what exactly would start causing any issues, but if anyone has any problems after loading a game, something like your uncovered overworld maps are not coming in as expected, please file a report and we can take a closer look with you!

If you believe your files may have gotten interrupted during an upload and are affected, loading from a non-steam cloud saves (2-10) and checking their status would be recommended. If these work as expected we can help merge them into your most recent one, please let us know!

Thank you everyone for the feedback! We'll be working on controller updates this week as well as some other needed tuning and fixes.

[h2] Coming soon: Help for players getting lost! [/h2]

To address feedback of players getting lost or having trouble with knowing what to do we are also starting work on a solution. You're still at an advantage from thinking and looking at maps/entries in your inventory, but there will be an option to have your guards chat amongst themselves to think of a task they've gotten that they could pursue next to help jog your memory!

We hope this in an update soon!
