Friday the 13th Update 1.10: Nightmares and Scythes
The tolling of the bells has been answered by Death.
[p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]One month after releasing Deck of Haunts, we're now ready to unleash the largest update yet.
It contains something a lot of you have been wanting, a higher difficulty![/p][p]Before we start off with giving you all of the info, we want to express a big thanks to our community, you give us motivation and energy to keep pumping out all of these updates.
And as always, if you like the game, a review is greatly appreciated, as it helps us a lot![/p]
Some of the highlights:
[/p][p][/p]
For those that want to know more, let's dive a little deeper.
[p][/p]
Nightmare
[p]Instead of just scaling some numbers to make the game more difficult, we've made an entirely new game mode: Nightmare.[/p][p]In Nightmare, you will have to survive 13 Nightmares consisting of 13 nights each.
During those nights you will encounter increasingly difficult curated groups of humans, some of them even containing new traits.
To make matters even more dangerous, every Nightmare will have a specific new modifier applied to it, which will carry over to the next Nightmare.[/p][p]A new mechanic & professional scythe wielder has also been introduced in Nightmare: the Grim Reaper.
Whenever you kill or drive a human insane, you will collect a soul.
Once you've filled up your meter to 13, you can exchange those souls for a visit from the Grim Reaper, who will Harvest a human in your house of your choosing.[/p][p]If you can survive the final Nightmare, 13, you will have won over the confidence in your haunting skills of the Grim Reaper, and you will be able to permanently add them to your house in other game modes with the Crypt room that you'll unlock.[/p][p]These are the extra unlocks you can achieve in the Nightmare mode:[/p]
