Steam Scream Fest Discount and Patches right in time for Halloween!

[h3]Ready your pumpkins and candy bowls as the moment we've all been waiting for, Halloween, is around the corner![/h3][p]From 27 October 10:00am PDT to 3 November 10:00am PDT Deck of Haunts will be joining the

Deck of Haunts now fully in the Autumn atmosphere ๐Ÿ‚

[p]As we've brought Halloween to Deck of Haunts recently, we felt there were still some places we could add a bit of Autumn/Fall vibes. So we did just that![/p][p][/p][p]Apart from that we've also gone over a lot of shaders to try and optimize some more so your computers do not have to serve as a heater as well, in the coming cold season.[/p][p][/p][p]In case you have missed it, we're also working on a Scenario Builder that integrates with the Steam Workshop: [dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Changes[/p]

Announcing: Scenario Builder with Steam Workshop integration

[p]The ultimate freedom as a player is to be able to craft your own experiences, and share them with others.[/p][p]That is why we are working on a scenario builder tied into the Steam Workshop where you can create your own custom runs, with custom starting variables such as starting Heart health, Essence, layout, ...[/p][p][/p][p]Now... since it is still under construction we would -love- your feedback and comments on the very early build. This not only gives us valuable knowledge on how to tune the scenario builder but also gives you an input that will actually help shape the game.[/p][p][/p][p]We are not yet putting the Scenario Builder on the public Steam app, but you can join this pre-alpha process through our Discord: http://discord.gg/s4Qu6pg7D7[/p][p][/p][p]There, we will give you access to our testing branch and you can become part of our cozy team of community testers! (And get access to development tools ๐Ÿ‘€)[/p][p][/p][p]In the current pre-alpha version of the Scenario Builder you can:[/p]

  • [p]Add a custom amount of nights to a run.[/p]
  • [p]Add a custom amount of "waves" to a night.[/p]
  • [p]Add a custom amount of humans to a wave.[/p]
  • [p]Give the humans health, sanity, traits and also choose if they are special types such as stone masons, priests or police.[/p]
  • [p]Upload and download scenarios from the Steam Workshop.[/p]

Halloween Update Patch

[p]As you might have seen, Halloween has come to Deck of Haunts:[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]However, some of the pumpkins in the all new pumpkin patch were rotten, so we've put together this digital patch to patch up the patch. Or, something along those lines ๐Ÿ‘ป[/p][p][/p][p]Changes[/p]
  • [p]Added LODs to various assets to improve performance.[/p]
  • [p]Added the missing Banish tag to Gathering Miasma upgrade across all languages.[/p]
[p]Fixed Bugs[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Reconsider crash.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a translation error in the German version of Deferred Violence (aufgeschobene Gewalt).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Pumpkin Patch card not showing up in card discovery.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed False Solitude gets banished when played.[/p]

Halloween has arrived to Deck of Haunts!

[p]It's time put candy in front of the entrance and light up the jack-o'-lanterns... spooky season has arrived![/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Your haunted domains are now not only dressed with a spooky Halloween sauce, but you'll find some extra help from 4 new cards and a new room.[/p][p][/p][p]The Pumpkin Patch can eat your damage and drain cards and will grow larger the more you feed it.
Once humans will arrive on its fleshy grounds, the jack-o'-lantern in the middle will explode and deal damage and/or drain to all those poor humans inside the room.๐ŸŽƒ[/p][p][/p][p]For those of you worrying this is the end of the updates, fear not! We're working on a scenario builder so players can build their own runs and share them with other players.
