Major Content Drop Tease #3 Creatures

[p]As you might have read before, we're working on a big free content update for Deck of Haunts!
Today, we give you the third sneak preview.[/p][p][/p][p]A third area, next to cards and rooms, where the game will get more beefy, is creatures.
We have been wanting to add them for a while, and now we finally had some time to create them.[/p][p][/p][p]The total amount of creatures will still be limited, as we want to make them more than just "spawn and forget" (and we're only a team of 4 ;) ). But if players like them, we definitely have a desire to add more of them to the mix![/p][p]
There will be two kinds of creatures:[/p]
  • [p]Those linked to a starter deck: you will get a room that you need to build to spawn them, and they will remain in your house as long as you have that room built. Like the Witch that needs the Belltower or the Grim Reaper that needs the Crypt to be built.[/p]
  • [p]Those you can spawn through spawn cards: they will only dwell in your mansion for a limited amount of time, but that will be ample time for them to wreak havoc![/p]
[p]All new creatures will also have ability cards that will be added to your deck when they are roaming your house. So, instead of just spawning a creature and letting them roam, you can also use your deck to play with your creatures' abilities.[/p][p][/p][p]Here is a creature we selected that is ready for the public eye![/p][p][/p][p]We give you: Imps.
They are one of the creatures that can be spawned through cards.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]As they are nefarious little buggers, we found it fitting to give them a spawn card with that exact name:[/p][p]And here you can see an ability card for your Imps:[/p][p]This is just one of the creatures that is coming in the future. [p]Deck of Haunts has a lot of cards, rooms and other content to keep track of, and with more coming in the future, the need for a Wiki has grown.[/p][p][/p][p]This is why we're happy to release our official Deck of Haunts Wiki page![/p][p][/p][p]We've already setup some groundwork, but you as a player, can now also add to the Wiki.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Here is one example we selected that is ready for the public eye![/p][p][/p][p]We give you: The Bathroom.[/p][p]As a counter for the Weapons room did not exist yet, we've created the bathroom. All drain done to humans in this room is doubled. [/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]Would you dare take a bath here? Or how would you lure in visitors to this cursed room?[/p][p][/p][p]This is just one of the rooms that is coming in the future.

Here are three examples we selected that are ready for the public eye, including one with art![/p][p][/p][p]We wanted to create some cards that have an effect based on how you build your house, especially some that would have their effect vary on a room's tile size.[/p]
  • [p]Architect's Toll: Per tile in the room: Drain 1. If the target turns insane: Banish.[/p]
  • [p]Crushing Architecture: Per tile in the room: deal 1 Damage.[/p]
  • [p]Unstable Foundation: Block all special rooms. Banish[/p]
[p][/p][p]These are just three of the many more cards that are coming in the future.

Update V1.16: Show card upgrades in the card selection screen + loca fixes
