The Updated Demo is Here!

[p]New features, new guests, and new experience for multiple runs — The Steam Next Fest Demo is available NOW![/p][p][/p][p]But first, how about a new trailer as well?[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Now, let’s get into what you can expect from the updated demo. The guests are waiting.[/p][p]We’d like to highlight one specific feature in this version first. Because, in our opinion, it adds quite a bit more uncertainty and anxiety to your playthroughs. And that feature is randomization.[/p][p][/p]

[p]Now some of the guests will have their true identity and the day of their appearance randomized on each run. Of course, the most important characters like the Neighbour, the Prophet, the Super Impostor and FEMA soldier still have set parameters and will show up exactly as before. But everyone else? Well, you’d better be careful around them every time.[/p][p][/p][p]That’s not everything, though! Here’s the list of other notable features:[/p]
  • [p]Interactive radio — each day you’ll have the opportunity to hear a new broadcast. You’ll have to catch the right frequency to hear it clearly though;[/p]
  • [p]More stuff on the TV — after you’ve watched the morning broadcast, you can tune in for more shows during the day. Maybe something important might pop up there as well, who knows;[/p]
  • [p]New characters — will you risk your safety and let them in, or let them burn in the raging Sun?[/p]
  • [p]Extended backstories for each character — more personality for the guests and more weight to your decisions. Be sure talk to them… or don’t, if you want your conscience to stay clean;[/p]
  • [p]Consumables — true “bachelor fridge” experience, complete with beer and energy drinks. More of them will be featured in the full game;[/p]
  • [p]Achievements — a small selection of feats for you to conquer and some spice for your experience with the demo;[/p]
  • [p]And more — updated dialogues and text, upgraded UI, new sounds, bunch of small fixes and improvements![/p]
[p]One last thing, but arguably even more important than the new features. After you’ve played the updated demo — be sure to fill out the feedback form presented to you after you close the game. We would really value your opinion on the new features, as well as your overall impressions of the demo![/p][p][/p][p]And in case you miss the feedback form, here’s a direct link:[/p][p]No, I'm not a Human Feedback Form[/p][p][/p][p]You might want to join CR Channel Discord as well to discuss your impressions with other players. Especially since we a have couple cool No, I’m Not a Human activities in the works for you to participate in while you wait for the full release![/p][p][/p][p]Speaking of: we have a silly little activity going on over at Twitter\\X, where each week the community suggests what we should put into a glass jar to later preserve. Who knows, maybe if all goes well with the jar, it might even appear in-game?
[/p][p]And if you’re a fan of our studio, absolutely join Trioskaz Official Discord server. We sometimes host chaotic Q&As there, share news and insights before anywhere else, and just like to chat with our community members.

By the way, our studio is going to release another game soon — Lost in the Roots.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]It's a 2D adventure with a tangled story about guilt, in which a girl is kidnapped and held captive in some unknown attic located somewhere inside a giant living Forst in the countryside. Who and why has taken the girl to such godforsaken place? And what do you do when you have nowhere to run? [/p][p][/p][p]That’s everything… for now at least. Enjoy the updated demo, and don’t forget to let us know your thoughts on it![/p][p]
