Project Songbird Teaser Faceless Update 1.0.4

[p]Hello once again! This time I just have a few minor improvements to the demo! Hopefully, with this patch, most all major problems with Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless will be fixed up and the experience will be smooth running from here on out![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Further geometry optimization and shadow reduction.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where flashlight would not work during final basement[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some UI scaling issues[/p]
  • [p]Fixed tutorial prompt toggle setting not working properly[/p]

Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless Update 1.0.3

[p]Another day, another grouping of patches![/p][p][/p][p]I do apologize for all of the issues and inconveniences you guys are running into! FYRE Games is a predominantly one-man team (that one man being me), and I don't have a regular QA staff to check for bugs and hiccups, so it gets a bit challenging to find the glitches prior to launch. However, seeing all of your feedback and playthroughs has been incredibly valuable in making this playable teaser the best it can be![/p][p][/p][p]v1.0.3 comes with a couple of big fixes that'll hopefully smooth out the experience for most players![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Another massive geometry optimization pass was done on the final basement area. Compared to v1.0.0, this area can see upwards of a 90% reduction in geometry complexity, leading to much improved performance[/p]
  • [p]A bug causing enemies to get stuck on locked doors has been fixed[/p]
  • [p]A bug that disables the flashlight when respawning in the final basement area has been addressed[/p]
[p][/p][p]This game being a one-person development, I want to say that I do take all of your feedback and criticisms to heart, and I want you all to know that I am working tirelessly to make sure that this demo is to the highest quality standard that I could hope to achieve. Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless v1.0.2

[p]Phew![/p][p]It's been a long day of getting this demo in good shape! It's very late and I'm very tired, but I'm also happy to offer some additional fixes and improvements to the playable teaser for Project Songbird! The fixes are as follows.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Significantly decreased the poly-count of some meshes in the final basement area.[/p]
  • [p]Optimized real time light sources in both the house and the final basement[/p]
  • [p]Improved enemy AI logic to avoid them getting stuck on palettes.[/p][p][/p]

Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless v1.0.1

[p]Hey y'all![/p][p]Thank you to all of those who have decided to take the plunge and check out the playable teaser for my upcoming game Project Songbird! It truly mean the world to me![/p][p]I'm taking all of your feedback deeply to heart, and I've pushed an update, version 1.0.1, with some fixes and QoL improvements![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]There is now a setting called "manual flashlight" that allows you to toggle the flashlight on and off at will. The control for this is C on keyboard, and D-pad Up on a gamepad, and all control menus have been updated to reflect this.[/p]
  • [p]Enemy health has been reduced[/p]
  • [p]The sound made by photographs has been changed to a low drone instead of the ringing sound.[/p]
[p][/p][p]I will be investigating some performance concerns people have been having, and hopefully I can get a new patch with those fixes rolling soon.
