Hi everyone!

So far, we've had a lot of fun watching your playthroughs and received many useful pieces of feedback as well. One of the suggestions we often see is regarding improved in-game guidance. We want to try and provide clearer hints that you guys can use to keep the game flow as smooth and enjoyable as possible. So, we added a new feature where you can enable a hint system during the memory association process.

We also improved the button mash UI clarity during the calming down sequence.

Dev Insights: Hospital

This is a sequence where The Flower is introduced as the subject of the experiment. Subject X02, Codename: The Flower, is a human test subject that is believed to have the power they need to erase a regret, a power to visit a memory and alter it. Nala has been caring for her as part of her tasks as a scientist working under her foster father, Toga.
The Hospital Room Scene
This scene captures the moment just before the experiment begins, a moment of unease where Nala’s nightmare also takes place. The silent and dimly lit room portrays the atmosphere of emotional weight.

The Flower appears as a frail little girl, barely alive. Her breath is her sign as a still-living being, yet her soul feels detached.
The Corridor Scene
This scene is designed to feel both real and surreal, a space where The Flower’s involvement starts foreshadowing in Nala’s consciousness. It’s an anticipation of what is to come once the experiment begins.

Dev Insights: The Graveyard

A graveyard, a resting place of our beloved ones. It reminds us of certain important memories, both good and bad.

The first graveyard scene is a visualization of Nala's recurring nightmare. For as long as she can remember, she has been haunted by her trauma, the feeling of guilt about her grandpa's death, and the uneasiness of not being able to remember what happened in her past.
A Chance
The presence of the aurora and the statue of Nala with a mask hint at the influence of The Flower, hidden behind the memories in Nala’s past.

It’s the same nightmare Nala sees over and over. For the last time, she’s seeing it again on the day of the experiment. The experiment that promises her a chance to erase that guilt, her trauma... her regret. To never see that nightmare again, once and for all.

But there is a difference. This time, in this dream, she has the chance to talk to the person in the mask... something that never happened in her dreams before.
