🔥🛡️ Flak & Hellfire – Two New Towers Enter the Battlefield! ⚔️🎯

This update brings new features, exciting improvements, and some much-needed fixes to the game. Whether you’re battling in PvP or taking on the Singleplayer challenge there are plenty of new reasons to jump back into the fight!

[h2]🏰 New Content[/h2]

  • Tower (Flak): The perfect tower to defend yourself against air enemies.
  • Tower (Hellfire): Starts off slow but keeps firing faster and faster a true powerhouse!
  • Level Cap: Player level has been increased from 19 to 21.


[h2]⚔️ Gameplay & Balance[/h2]

  • New damage indicators: A sound plays when you take damage, and you’ll now see from which direction it came.
  • Endless Mode: Now continues after the last star.
  • Endless Mode maps: Certain maps that rarely or never appeared will now spawn correctly.
  • Incorrect maps in Endless Mode have been fixed.
  • Tutorial in Singleplayer now works again.
  • Enemy Mage can once again be targeted by ground towers.


[h2]🛡️ PvP Mode[/h2]

  • Your base is now marked, making it easier to find.
  • Sound effects now play correctly in both ears.
  • Fixed several game crashes.
  • Music bug after boss fights has been resolved no more silence!
  • The Win Screen now correctly displays the actual winner of the match.
  • At the enemy spawn table, the hotbar no longer scrolls along when browsing.
  • Enemy prices have been reworked and balanced.

⚔️ New Game Mode: PvP

  • Play in teams or free-for-all against your friends.
  • Control the center of the map and collect a brand-new resource.
  • Use this resource to unleash enemies onto your opponents.
  • The Roguelike mode is active during PvP for maximum chaos and action!
  • You can now easily switch between Campaign and PvP in the planet selection screen.


🔧 Hotfixes & Improvements

  • ✅ Endless Mode now works properly again.
  • 🎨 Planet 3 received a full graphical overhaul.
  • 👾 Enemy behavior on Planet 3 has been fixed.
  • 🪐 Platform layouts on Planet 3 have been adjusted they should no longer cause issues.

🌨️🌍 Snow Planet Expansion

Welcome! This patch introduces a brand-new planet with frosty challenges, tons of quality-of-life improvements, a fully reworked UI, exciting new features, and plenty of bug fixes.

[h2]🌍 New Content[/h2]

New Planet – Snow Biome

  • 5 new levels are now available on the third planet, set in a frozen environment.


New Hub

  • The third and final hub has been added.


Lootable Crates

  • Crates containing ores can now be found throughout levels.


New Sounds

  • Added new sound effects for a richer atmosphere.
  • A special sound now plays when a new wave begins.

[h2]⚖️ Balancing & Gameplay[/h2]

Tutorial

  • Enemy waves are back in the tutorial.
  • Tutorial enemies are now easier to help new players get started.


Reworked Ore Mining

  • Improved visual effects.
  • New mechanic: hitting specific weak points mines ores faster.


Towers & Enemies

  • Teslar Tower now correctly attacks the Dragon – and the Dragon responds as intended.
  • Blueprint table animations for towers are now faster.
  • The Logbook now displays in percentages how much more/less damage enemies take from strengths/weaknesses.
  • Juggernaut had a display error in the logbook.
  • Some of the texts in the logbook have been adjusted.
  • The worm enemy now comes directly out of the ground when the stomper attacks.
  • An enemy is now no longer stunned for as long.


Level Adjustments

  • Level 3: Fixed issues where ores could not be mined properly.
  • Level 4: Fire mushroom enemy now displays its fire ground effect correctly.
  • Level 9: Added proper map boundaries to prevent players from leaving the map.
  • Level 10: Water towers can no longer be placed on bridges.

[h2]🖥️ UI & Quality of Life[/h2]

Barricade Building

  • Fix: Enemies could previously be blocked by unfinished “ghost” barricades.
  • Build UI redesigned and moved to the lower right corner.


Menus & Screens

  • Endless/Campaign selection UI completely reworked.
  • Save game loading screen redesigned.
  • Tower selection visuals improved for better clarity.
  • Ore deposit UI visually polished.


Controls & Settings

  • Keybinding changes are now directly reflected on in-game button layouts.
  • Language selection is now more prominently highlighted in settings.


Resource System

  • Crafting: Items are automatically placed into free inventory slots.
    Selling:
  • Players can now specify the exact amount to sell.
  • Instant “Sell All” option added (no waiting).


Texts

  • Many in-game texts polished and improved.

[h2]🐞 Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Fixed an issue where using emotes while selecting a level could cause errors.
  • Fixed a bug where some players could not unlock specific upgrades.
  • Save files can now be deleted correctly.
  • Improved footstep sounds on metal, sand, and ground surfaces.

[h2]🚀 Performance[/h2]

  • General performance improvements across all hubs and levels.

[h2]📢 Developer Statement[/h2]

We know you’re used to faster update cycles from us – this update took 2 full months to develop.
The reason is simple: we didn’t just work on this patch. At the same time, we’ve been building the next major update, which is already close to release.

Right now, you have access to the Campaign and the Endless Mode. But soon, we’ll be introducing a third game mode.
This mode required us to reprogram nearly the entire core of the game, as it was never originally planned and turned out to be a huge technical challenge.

We appreciate your patience and hope you’re as excited as we are for what’s coming next. ❤️

🔧 Hotfix 17

Hey everyone! We’re back with a small but important hotfix.

[h2]🆕 New[/h2]
Drone now available in Endless Mode:
  • You can now unlock and use the drone in Endless Mode.


[h2]⚖️ Balancing[/h2]

Drone collection behavior adjusted:
  • The drone no longer collects a fixed 200 of each ore. Instead, it gathers exactly the amount mined by the Miner – regardless of ore type or color.


[h2]🛠️ Bugfixes & Improvements[/h2]
Default Language:
  • The game now starts in English by default on first launch to avoid previous language issues.


Multiplayer – Depositing:
  • All players can now deposit resources, not just the host.
  • A bug that caused ores to go into negative values when depositing has been fixed.


Leaving the Lobby:
  • Players can now leave the lobby properly again.


Dragon particles:
  • Dragon particle effects are now visible to all players, not just the host.


Connection issue during Dragon spawn:
  • A bug that could cause players to disconnect when the dragon spawned has been resolved.


Drone particles in multiplayer:
  • Drone particle effects are now visible to all players in multiplayer.
