Bestiary: Stories, Tips, and Bonuses

Bestiary
In the core game of Inayah, we introduce the Bestiary — a place to store stories about bosses, their tragic fates intertwined with local tribes, and useful information for hunters. Each boss is not just an enemy but a fully fleshed-out character with their own story and unique traits. The Bestiary will help you uncover their past and prepare for battles.
Unfortunately, the demo version of the game does not include this feature yet, but in the full version, you’ll be able to explore it to its fullest.
Notes
How it works:
- Each entry in the Bestiary adds +5% damage against the boss.
- Collect three notes to receive a fourth clue for free.
- Clues reveal the boss's weaknesses, helping you plan your battle.
Example: Drone
Remember the Drone? That dangerous winged spearman who easily defeated three thousand players. Don’t worry; even the warriors of the Forest Masters tribe couldn’t take it down. The survivors left warning notes describing their encounters with the Drone.
Wrong Bees
"I wasn’t drunk on potions! That wasn’t a sting; it was a spear. A bee with a spear! Don’t believe me? Go and see for yourself. But beware: the creature wields it so fast you’ll lose track. It’ll pierce your fat belly in no time!"
You can collect these and better prepare for the upcoming fight. Everything you manage to learn about a boss will be stored in the Bestiary. One line in the Bestiary equals +5% additional damage in battle. Not bad, right?
Example: Rider
Notes aren’t the only source of knowledge. Sometimes, you can learn about a boss through conversations with locals.
Information from a Hunter's Dialogue
Some of you may have reached the Rider, who tamed a giant beetle. Not everyone is happy about the Sand People taming beetles. You'll meet a Hunter who will share knowledge about the Rider’s weaknesses... of course, for their own interests.
Example: Quillback
The final source of knowledge is visual clues found in hidden corners.

You’ve probably guessed that the unfortunate savage fell victim to Quillback. As Nix, one of the heroines of our game and a skilled huntress who will teach you how to track clues, says: “See a corpse, find out what killed it, or you’re next!”
We advise you to heed her advice. In the meantime, here’s how a page in the Bestiary of a true Boss Hunter might look.

In the demo version of the game, you can try battles with the listed bosses while we continue improving the Bestiary, its interface, and the user experience to make it as convenient and engaging as possible.
But that’s not all! Since bosses are an important part of the game, we’re preparing something special to dive deeper into their stories. We’ll share more in a future update. Stay tuned!
Bonus
To add some variety and show our gratitude for your attention, we’ve included a video of a Quillback fight on Hard mode. We hope you enjoy it!
