Demo Newsletter Discord

Two weeks ago, we released the demo of Dream Team Supreme. Thank you to all those who played it, and thank you for your feedback. We always want to know what you think is fun and what needs more cooking.

Some of you have beaten the demo several times over already. Well done! 4 new monsters have invaded. Let's see how you do against them.

Here is the link to download Dream Team Supreme. If you play the 0.2 demo today, you'll read an message prompting you to download 0.3. Only the latest version will work.

At this early stage of development, we just want to find the fun combinations. We're less worried about the continuity of the monsters. We're less worried about the identity of Bruce Force or Tricky Vicky's decks yet. Expect us to swap out cartridges in future releases and play around with all the content. As always, let us know what you think!

Above and below: Here's some of the sketches of monsters ideas for this planned invasion.

And now for some Big News for the Big Adventure team. We won a grant fund of $40K to kick start the development of Dream Team Supreme. The grant comes from CODE (the Centre Of Digital Excellence) and will go towards increasing the quality of our demo ahead of any launch. Beyond the financial support, winning a grant lends credibility to Dream Team Supreme as a project. We've all got years of experience in our own fields but haven't shipped a commercial release as Big Adventure, yet haha.

See ya,

In October, we demonstrated what we’ve been working on to the general public at PAX Australia. Players got a sneak peek of Dream Team Supreme. Even though we only showed off the solo mode at PAX Aus, we received incredible feedback.

We're so excited to share the demo with you. Here's what to expect:

  • A roguelike deckbuilder where the players control 2 decks
  • Solo and 2-player online co-op game modes
  • 4 Monsters to defeat
  • 2 Scientists and their decks to play with
  • 40+ cards and 17 Mods to try out
  • Lots of strategies to try out

If you've played it at PAX, we've worked on the readability within the monster encounters and we hope that's addressed a lot of the issues from your feedback.

At this early stage of development, our goal is not to sell copies of a game that's almost finished. Quite the opposite, we're just starting out on our journey to make it the most fun roguelike deckbuilder. Our goal with the demo is to gather your feedback. We want to know what you think about it, what you like, what you don't, and any way we can make it more fun! In the game, there are links that make giving us feedback easy. We want you to join us in making Dream Team Supreme as amazing as it sounds!

We plan on updating it at least once a month for the foreseeable future. Some updates will address feedback and others will focus on features we're developing.

To play with a friend or with a stranger, all you need to do is share the in-game connect code. You will need to figure out your own way to talk to each other. We suggest Discord, it's quick and easy. We also have an #lfg channel to make co-op games easier to find.

We can't wait to hear what you think!
