FPS toggling!

FPS toggle switch!! It works too! I set it to have 5, 30, 60, and 90 FPS settings. That should be good for most people I think!

Clicking Achievements!!

Clicking achievements are now obtainable! ːarcadeheartː

I'll try make it synchronize with the in-game counter but it works right now on every 500th click it adds 500 to the stat, at the same time as it saves to Steam Cloud. ːgreen_handː ːpartydiskː

Good enough for today!!!

DLC now gives the 4x items properly!

Hey did some testing and I've got the drop system set up now where it gives you 3x common items and 1x DLC item per drop time now.

That's how I wanted things to work! w00t!

You'll need to download the patch for it to work properly!

Season 2 + Winter Sale!

Hey people! WINTER SALE is here!

I slowed the droprate down to 1 item every 20 minutes now and am labelling them "Season 2" items, the DLC functions the same as it did during the introductory period, but is now available for $0.02 US cheaper than ever before: $1.17!

There is no actual difference to how I am doing things I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still over here makin' items, and if you saw my last news post I had to take marketability off of the first half of the items, we'll sort those out later, stack them up for now, and now that we have inventory tagging you can just choose the new "S02" items and it would only show the new ones which are from this new slower paced world, should be helpful for sorting through them.

I started building a fanbase on Bluesky, it may look strange that a clicker game featuring animated jars of jam is posting music videos all day, but I'm just trying to grow us larger and larger with each passing day. I really love this Bluesky world and how JAMs is becoming a force to be reckoned with now, so if you are just confused coming from that world --- thank you so much for listening to the tunes I am posting and clicking those like buttons, that's plenty of support and it's helping us grow! I remember how excited I was to hit 100 fans there and now we are headed to 10,000 strong soon! I'll keep our video wall as clean as I can, let me know if you have any favorite songs to blast out to the JAMs world this holiday season, as long as they are an absolute JAM of a bop.

And of course Happy Holidays! I'm over here building or branding or rendering or expanding JAMs in one shape or another, pushin' buttons that make us go faster.

Cheers! ːLIS_butterflyː Follow us on Bluesky! ːloveminingː ːbluegemː

Cleaning Up The Market A Bit

Hey! I'm still here jammin' away every day, in one aspect or another!

You may have noticed awhile back that somehow all the items became messed up and variants became created. That was and is still pretty frustrating to look at, but they are still items and we will fix them or make a system to convert them back into marketable versions, but there are not supposed to be more than 1 listing of each item anyway so at least temporarily, everything up to (ironically) "Steamy" was broken.

The tags are not on the items themselves, they were on the item generator and apparently those tags get sent into the item descriptions of what it generates, and the tags were there since the beginning but were not visible because I had not set up the inventory sorting / localization stuff, the moment I did that everything went haywire.

Just removing marketability of them, they are still tradeable, it's just the descriptions that got messed up.

I have not missed a day creating new items though, and there should be enough still left in the market so there is something to look at, it's not the end of the world here just letting you all know what I am trying here. I am not abandoning the designs, we are just sort of shelving them for a sec. When we have a solution it's just going to be a 1 for 1 swap to get back into a marketable version, ideally.

I recommend stacking them, they actually stack to the different versions really neat-and-tidy-like.

https://github.com/steamnerds/userscripts
^ this is the script that everyone on Steam uses to stack items with. it works great, if you are not familiar with it, it requires using an API key and the google chrome web console. It's only for stacking and unstacking items, I'll have these types of features in the game itself at some point. You can also just transfer the items to an alt account to clean up in the meantime.

The game gives a lot of items so it's almost necessary, I literally just got stunned when the items split all apart like that so this is a way to at least have a super clean experience for all new players who are seeing my insane wall of videos on Bluesky, then looking at the actual game itself and --- it's pretty much a mess --- yea.., but I plan on working at this project forever so I just want things to be as clean and tidy as possible! Please just stack up the old ones and we will deal with them later so I can focus on actually learning how the editor works instead of how to solve this bizarre problem. So glad they were all free items, people would be so mad if they had to buy all those! The 1st DLC set got roasted too, but again it's just a temporary solution as different versions of these items are ridiculous to be on the market.

Just like I even said in the banjo song on the store page I didn't want anything to be broken, and then immediately the whole market like explodes, but I can count 25 items since then so the market will hopefully function just as well as it did the day everything broke in the first place.

Anyways thanks for hanging out with me and my bizarre Steam game adventure, Season 1 sure has been an adventure for me and I'm looking forward to iterate on what have going on so far. I know it doesn't really make a lot of sense, but I think it's going pretty well. If it wasn't for the item description disaster I'd say things were going perfect.

It may take a bit for the changes to completely take effect, don't buy anything thinking it's a last minute chance to get one, they are plentiful it's just different versions of the same items appeared.
