Hello peeps and poops. First of all, an apology for taking so long. I personally needed to slow the pace after a few crazy months of almost non-stop Butt development. Believe it or not, a man can get burned out of seeing butts all day.
Here's what we're bringing into the game:

If you didn't know, Butt Slapper did get Nyatasha Nyanners banned from twitch a few weeks ago, so I decided to collab with her and add her ghostly cat pet into the game.

This new limited Crate comes with all these Butts:

[h3]The Slap Shop[/h3]
I have created a new section for the Crate Lab menu called The Slap Shop. Here you'll be able to buy different animated backgrounds for the game using your Slaps. I will also be adding more interesting backgrounds in the future!
[h3]Butt Exchange[/h3]
Also in the Crate Lab, you'll find the Butt Exchange menu, where you can "sell" any Butt you want to get rid of, and get some AMACoin in return. This is great if you want to order some Holiday Butt Crates using that AMACoin!
[h3]Bye bye, Spooky Butt Crate[/h3]
After almost a month since Halloween, it's past time I phased this Crate out. Now, instead of getting Spooky Butt Crates, you'll be getting Holidays Butt Crates at the same rate. If you own a bunch of Spooky Butt Crates, they will still be good to open and trade. The only thing that has changed is that there isn't a way to generate new Spooky Butt Crates anymore. At least until the next Halloween event comes!
[h3]New save system[/h3]
We worked on yet another new save system. As I, Amarillo, am not a great programmer, the new Butt Slapper team worked on this. I sincerely hope this brings to an end the repeated issues people with unstable power sources have been having all this time.
[h3]New original soundtrack[/h3]
My buddy Mutante Robot composed a few original tracks for the game. These are stream-friendly (even if the game isn't so too much), so fear no copyright claims. While Mutante made 99% of the music, I did personally step in to play the bass lines.
That's it for now! Little by little the development of Butt Slapper will be handed to the yet-to-be-named Game Studio of the friend I have partnered with. I will keep working on the Butts and art, but the code and maintenance will be in better hands.
I'm sorry to all the people that have been experiencing problems with the saves!

Get ready to slap again
Hello Slappers. Very soon it's going to be time to push the update I've been cooking (along with the new Butt Slapper team) after what seems like a very long time. There is one very important change I want you to be aware of:
I'll remove the option to buy Spooky Butt Crates using AMACoin!
This is because the Halloween event will be officially ending at the time the new update comes. If you've been saving to buy many Spooky Butt Crates, now is the time! After the new update comes, there will not be any way to buy more Spooky Butt Crates.
[h3]When will the Holidays Update come?[/h3]
99% likely that it will be ready on Sunday 24th of November. That's very soon!
[h3]What will the Holidays Update include?[/h3]
- A bunch of new Butts
- A new limited Butt Crate for the Holidays event
- The Slap Shop: An in-game store where you can buy backgrounds using your Slaps
- Butt Exchange: Get rid of any Butts you don't want and get some AMACoin in return
- A slappy original soundtrack for the menus
- Yet another attempt to solve the loss of progress after your PC shutsdown suddenly due to a power outage
[h3]How long will the Holidays event last?[/h3]
Until the next year. This event will include Butts for Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year.
I'll be adding more Butts both during and after the Holidays event. Another important pending feature is the ability to buy skins for the hands using AMACoin.

Management change
Hello dear slapping community.
I have taken a very difficult but necessary decision. While I, Amarillo, will keep working on everything art-related (Butts and character graphics), I am handing over the development of this game to a more experienced partner who will ensure it gets up to a higher standard to meet all your needs and expectations.
It's not easy to admit, but I personally haven't been able to deliver a product with all the functionality and polish an audience as big as this requires. I am struggling to solve basic things like the loss of progress for a lot of people, and adding new features (AMACoin, Slap Shop) to the game -that I didn't originaly plan- is making the project grow to a level of complexity that now exceeds my capabilities.
While I do have experience making simple games, Butt Slapper stopped being that when it grew in popularity. I don't believe this project can be lead by a single person of my characteristics. I am better suited for making smaller and more personal creations. Butt Slapper has turned into a living and breathing game that needs constant attention and work put into it, as it evolves together with its community.
[h3]Who are you partnering with?[/h3]
A friend I met back when I was a student. He has worked on some startups and has a lot of experience running projects. At this time he's in the process of forming his own studio. When he does, I'll add its name to the game and tell you about it.
[h3]Will there be changes to the game?[/h3]
The idea is that the only changes will be improvements. Here's our internal roadmap for the coming days:

I'd rather be honest with you and tell you that I don't want to hurry with it. I'd prefer to do things the right way. If that means a loss of hype and less interest in the game, so be it. I owe you the best I can do, so I won't rush our work. At this very moment, my friend and I are working on putting him up to date with all the ins and outs of the game and planning the development and fixes.
But we do have a deadline for the next big update. At the very latest, we will have a big update one week before Thanksgiving, that is the 21st of November. Hopefully it won't take us that long.
[h3]What will happen with Desktop Pets?[/h3]
I know a lot of you are very interested in my next game, Amarillo's Desktop Pets. This merger of sorts won't affect it. In fact, I have a lot of love for working as a solo dev. It makes my projects feel 100% mine and I always want to have that. One of the main reasons I'm partnering up for Butt Slapper is to have more time to work on Desktop Pets and all my other projects.

Slapper Hot Fix
Fixed an issue that prevented the game from working correctly when the player progress save file got deleted (for whatever reason). This bug manifested itself in the inability to purchase upgraes or go back to the main menu of the game.
