You all probably know this already, but I had to take Butt Slapper work down a notch in favor of getting my other game's demo ready for Next Fest.

This month's tiny update includes 6 new Butts:

[h2]Here are a few other changes[/h2]

• Reduced the drop window from 24 hours to 23. This will let you be able to open the game at the same time every day.
  
• Reduced the probability to get a Man Butt Crate from 10% to 5%. This means that you'll get a regular Butt Crate 95% of the time now.
  
• Fixed a bug that made Crow Girl Butt white instead of a dark shade of purple.
  
• Removed deprecated butts (Thong Butt and Butt Naked Butt) from the Butt-a-pedia. They will still show up if you do own them.

What's a-poopin', slapparillos?



Today I'm bringing two pieces of very requested content into the game.



I'm proud to announce that after many weeks of human experimentation and genetic splicing, I have finally been able to produce the first viable specimen of the upper human section. Introducing, the only of its kind: The Boob Butt.





You've slapped millions of round, soft and juicy butts, but those are games for little kids. There comes a time in the life of a man when he must look himself in the mirror. Face his own demons. Perhaps even admire his own butt at least once (we've all done it, don't lie). Slappers, I'm not gonna lie to you, this will be your toughest challenge yet. You will slap yourself.

Which is why I'm finally adding a bunch of man Butts! Here's how that will work. You will keep getting your regular Butt Crates most of the time -which contain only female butts- but there's a smaller chance you'll get a new Man Butt Crate. These will be rarer, though not limited to any event. You'll always be getting a few of those.



If you do not dare look inside the Butt of You, you can always exchange the Man Butt Crates for some AMACoin, or just sell them on the market.

I have added a new option in the Settings menu. Filters. These will let you completely hide Nude and Male Butts from the game. I might introduce other filters in the future.



The Holidays Butt Crate is officially out of circulation. No more Holidays for us!

The drop rates website is still not 100% up to date. It will probably take me one extra day working on it with the current rates and butts.

Lastly, I'll enable Steam Cloud again in around a week. The save system seems to be working as best as I can squeeze it, so it might be time. Steam Cloud will only sync your slaps, upgrades and backgrounds. Your inventory is always saved to the Inventory Service. If you'd like to be extra safe, you can make a backup of your current save file. Here's where to find it.



Some of you might have already seen this one in my socials.



I like making jokes (even at my own expense) and parodies of some trends. While that's more or less the vibe with that announcement, it is also true that I have plans for many more games in the near future. I've been thinking about what a hypothetical Amarillo's Butt Slapper 2 would be, and I came up with some ideas that I would have a lot of fun making. But that's still a ways off, so don't expect any news about it during this year. Just rest assured I'm not gonna be pulling an Overwatch 2 on you. This Butt Slapper will forever remain the little flawed but charming game that it is right now.

Hello baddies. Would you still love me if I was a little worm who took longer to update the game?

I've been working on my future projects very hard. Desktop Pets is getting a free demo very soon, right on time for the coming Next Fest; and I've started preparing the ground for my 3rd Steam game: Amarillo's Vehicle Manslaughter.

But I should still apologize for not updating Butt Slapper yet. I am a stinky, I admit it. I'm sorry.

[h3]Alright let's talk business now![/h3]

First, in around a week's time, I'll be retiring the Holidays Butt Crate. That will be the end of the Holidays event.

Second, chicken enthusiasts, I know you're out there. This one's for you. I'm adding Chicken suit Butts for Ada, Boba and Clara. Here's a little preview of the art I made for them just today.



Third, man lovers rejoice: I'm adding male Butts to the game. The next update will also add a few filters you can set in the Settings menu. This will protect your beautiful eyes from seeing some types of butts you don't like. The filters will be: NSFW and Male. If you check the NSFW filter, every time a Butt with nudity shows up, it will be completely black. Same thing with the male Butts.

Lastly, I want to introduce two new original characters whose Butts you'll be able to slap. They are Estela and Dan.

Estela. I first presented her a while ago in my socials.

Dan. I made him back when I was dipping my toes into the spicy animations territory. I didn't quite enjoy the process, so he ended up being forgotten until now. He'll be repurposed into a Femboy now, haha.

These are premium animated backgrounds, costing 1 million slaps each. Even though they are Christmas themed, they won't be limited to the Holidays event. You'll be able to buy these even after the current event ends.

Let me come forward and share my latest L with you all. TL;DR: there's no Butt Slapper team anymore. It's just me now, like the good old days (a month ago).

[h3]What happened?[/h3]

Nothing dramatic, just a mix of personal life decisions and money. Let's just say, I can't really afford a team :'V

[h3]What does this mean for Butt Slapper?[/h3]

I'm going to scale development down. I won't work on new features, unless they're really necessary.

I'm also probably not going to fix the issues with the Butt Exchange system; because it's a very complex programing task that goes beyond my skills as a developer (in my defense, Valve's Inventory Service is REALLY complex to work with).

And I will very likely not do custom hand skins.

[h3]Will the game keep getting updates?[/h3]

Yes. I will keep making content. That is, Butts, events, backgrounds and art.

[h3]What will you focus on then?[/h3]

While I'm going to reduce the time I spend developing Butt Slapper, I will start pouring more resources into my next projects. That is mainly Desktop Pets.



Sorry about the bad news! Things sometimes don't work the way you plan them. But my love for this project and my commitment to the community isn't changing. As long as you keep enjoying this little game, I'll keep making new content.

Small dumb bug, but we got it fixed now. Sorry about that!

[h3]Drop rates website updated[/h3]
The dedicated website has been finally updated with the new Butts and all their drop rates. Be sure to force it to update it by pressing Ctlr + F5. If you still can't see the new Butts, consider using incognito mode or changing browser. We'll work on this fixing inconvenience, which is a result of how the website caches its data.
