Weapons! - DevInside 02
Weapons!
Arguably the most essential tool for taking on a horde of evil robots! In Mech Havoc, you’ll have access to an extensive arsenal, with each weapon categorized into one of three main types. Let’s dive into these categories and take a closer look at some of the powerful tools you can wield in Mech Havoc!
Ballistic Weapons
Your bread and butter.

This category combines simplicity with versatility, offering a wide range of reliable, hard-hitting options. Ballistic weapons may be the more traditional choice, but their effectiveness and adaptability make them essential tools in any arsenal. From high-caliber machine guns to precise sniper rifles, this category has something for every combat scenario.

Twin HMG
Do you like heavy machine guns? What if we stick 2 of them together? Then you end up with the Twin HMG! With a large magazine, solid damage output, and a highly efficient fire rate, this weapon is built for reliability in nearly any encounter.

Cluster Launcher
A powerful single-shot grenade launcher that fires high-caliber cluster grenades. Upon detonation, each grenade releases a swarm of 16 smaller explosives that cover a broad area. Perfect for clearing groups of enemies.

RCL-Beehive
A recoilless rifle that fires specialized shells, inspired by the real-world "Beehive" design. These shells release a swarm of flechettes mid-flight, saturating a wide area with projectiles. It takes up to half a second for all the flechettes to be ejected. Making the weapon especially effective for crowd control at longer ranges.
Rocket Weapons
Missiles! Rockets! EXPLOSIONS!

As the name suggests, this category is packed with rocket and missile-based weaponry, giving you an array of powerful options for delivering explosive devastation directly to your foes! If you're a fan of explosions and destruction, this category is made for you!

RPG
Your starting rocket launcher. Fires a single unguided rocket that's capable of dealing a decent amount of damage. While it’s a straightforward, no-frills option, its effectiveness makes it a reliable choice.

MRL10
Unguided rocket artillery. Fires a volley of up to 10 rockets with a wide spread. While it’s built for area destruction, controlled bursts can improve accuracy, allowing for more targeted strikes when needed. Perfect for overwhelming groups of enemies. Especially if you unlock the later variants, like the MRL20 and MRL30.

Flanker 6x2
Similar to the MRL10, but instead launches up to 12 guided missiles at a 45° angle. This unique firing trajectory, paired with a precise guidance system, allows you to target enemies in otherwise hard-to-reach locations.
Experimental Weapons
Hight-tech destruction

This high-tech category features some of the most sophisticated and cutting-edge weaponry available, including lasers, plasma cannons, railguns, and more. Ideal for those who prefer futuristic firepower, this category offers options for effortlessly slicing through armor, striking at long range, and neutralizing enemies with high-efficiency energy-based attacks.

L-16
What's a sci-fi shooter without laser weapons? Designed for rapid-fire precision, the L-16 fires a series of short-pulse lasers with minimal recoil. Additionally, like most laser weapons in Mech Havoc, its accuracy improves with sustained fire.

BEAM
Build on the same laser technology as the L-16, the BEAM instead fires a continuous and pinpoint accurate beam of energy. Perfect for targeting enemy weak spots.

PL-Grenadier
The Plasma Launcher - Grenadier variant: The result of an effort to explore plasma-based grenade technology. Plasma weapons are especially effective against armored targets, easily destroying reinforced parts that would pose a challenge for conventional weaponry.
