Patch Notes v1.2.5 - Regular Update

Dear Damned Divers,

We are excited to announce that we can finally release patch 1.2.5 for Hell Dive!

This new patch is packed with improvements, bug fixes, and extra goodies. Here are the most relevant additions:
 • Achievements - You asked, and we listened! The game now features 35 achievements to unlock, and some will be quite tricky. You’ll need to explore every corner of this cursed ocean to get them all!
 • A New Ending - We heard your feedback that the original ending was underwhelming, so we went back to the workshop to build, test and sleep way too little. We think you're going to like what we've created!!
 • New Notes - There are new notes to find and more lore to obsess over!
 • Clear Reading - We've made it easier for players to read on-screen text, regardless of visual or cognitive impairments.
 • Audio Improvements - The audio mixing was inconsistent before, but we've streamlined it to eliminate unwanted sounds and hisses! All in the spirit of building proper fear for you all. You're welcome! :)
 • New Save/Load system - Saving and loading where beasts to tackle. Every new feature or tiny tweak to make our dive deeper, darker, and better had us bracing for crashes and development chaos. Fixing it was the only way forward.
 • Performance Improvements - We spent a lot of time revamping the game's way of loading data and achieved performance improvements of up to 440%!

Important Note: Due to the complete rebuild of the Save/Load system, previous save files are sadly no longer compatible. Additionally, the previous achievements have been removed as they are no longer achievable.

We apologize for any inconvenience! We hope that the improvements and new content will make up for it.

Thank you for the support!

Sixth Development Log: You Hellish People

Dear Damned Divers!

Welcome to the Sixth development log for Hell Dive! This one took some time to arrive.
You are Making This Hell Fun
Watching all of you play Hell Dive has been surreal. From the life-sucking, game-breaking bugs at launch in January to the disappointment some felt with our original Hell ending! That really freaked us out. We had been testing with players and doing soul-wrenching QA pretty much 24/7. And then we hit the market. CRASH and BURN!

But now May is arriving. And we are having a game that brings screams, laughter, and small moments of pure chaos. Moments like falling through walls from shaking too hard. Or calmly sneaking after one of our monsters... just to stare at its very well-shaped booty. Or watching those horrific food videos that can never be unseen. (We’re not naming names, but you know who you are, Mister!) Or having this “big gaming” guy casually say, “just hanging in there,” at the most perfect time. Or... There are so many great moment.

We love them all. Every slow-burning, chaotic second.

Your reactions and feedback, the good and the ugly, and your mix of joy and terror mean the world to us. Our director is addicted to watching your streams, constantly studying how you play to make Hell Dive even better, one terrifying little nudge at a time.

From the whole tiny teacup team: THANK YOU.
You motivate us to keep pushing and to keep growing.
More Darkness, Achievements, and the Hellish End!
It’s time to reveal the hellish ending we’ve been working so hard on! Along with this, we’ve added more achievements, fixed the “blinded by the divine light” bug, and implemented tons of optimizations. There’s still so much more we want to do, but we’re really excited to see how all the new changes are being received! :)
Thank You for Diving In
We appreciate your support and can’t wait for you to experience what’s coming next.
