Don’t Wake the Beast announced! A new adventure awaits…
Hunters!
It’s been an incredible journey since the release of Flooded, and today, I’m thrilled to finally share the first glimpse of my next project - Don’t Wake the Beast.
While Flooded explores survival and strategy in a world consumed by rising waters, Don’t Wake the Beast ventures into entirely new territory - one that I’ve been excited to explore for quite some time already…
What’s Don’t Wake the Beast?
I’ve wanted to challenge myself with a fresh genre and a different type of gameplay compared to my latest game, all while staying true to the pixel art style I hold dear. Now, after months of development, I’m excited to finally introduce you to this roguelite stealth adventure.
Just like with my previous project, this game’s journey began during a game jam, where I first brought the idea to life. Back then, it was a pure stealth game, but I felt an urge to make it more immersive… To add layers that would draw players in even deeper!
What started as a simple experiment, quickly turned into something much more exciting.

In Don’t Wake the Beast, you play as a treasure hunter sneaking through randomly generated dungeons, each one fiercely guarded by dangerous enemies. Your goal? Steal the most precious treasures without alarming foes and escape before the beast catches up to you!
Oh, and you have to know that every treasure you collect contributes to your wealth, but also increases your weight and the noise you make…
Each dungeon features many monsters, traps, and environmental puzzles. To navigate these hazards, you’ll rely on your brain and your trusty grappling hook - a tool that’s key to opening new pathways and staying one step ahead of danger.
In the future I’ll definitely share more about the hook itself, as it will be a crucial part of the gameplay! ;)

I’m beyond excited to share that the game’s debut trailer premiered at The MIX Fall Showcase and is now available to watch. I hope the video gives you a taste of the adventure that awaits.
You might have already seen it, but… Let’s do this one more time:

Stay tuned!
Of course, there’s still a lot of work ahead, but I know this will be an exhilarating journey. Working on Don’t Wake the Beast is an awesome experience, and I’m happy that I was able to finally reveal it to you all.
If the game sparks your interest, consider adding Don’t Wake the Beast to your wishlist - it means a lot to me and helps a ton. Thank you for your continued support, and I can’t wait to share more updates with you soon!
