Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers | Episode 4 and 5
Hello Vampire Survivors Crawlers!
[p]Today we have a couple more episodes of Let's Explore Vampire Crawlers: one about Character Card Triggers, and another about exploration.

[/p]
Character Triggers and Card types
[p]- Like all cards, Character Cards have an immediate, straightforward effect when played. But the characters will also stay a bit longer and fight with you, with their lingering passive Triggers.
Triggers react when you play a card of their respective color, allowing you to activate all sorts of bonuses and effects. For example, by going on a crawl together with Poe, Suor Clerici, and Mortaccio, playing a simple "Armor" card will also let you draw 1 card, gain 1 Amount, and recover health!

[/p]
Explore Maps, Find Treasures
[p]- As you unlock more game mechanics, the Village will also expand, giving you new ways to spend your gold. By exiting the Village, you reach the World Map, from where you can select a new stage for your next crawl. Stage maps give you all the information you need to decide how to navigate the current floor at a glance.
Other than enemies, you'll find several points of interest: just bump into anything you want to interact with!

Thank you all once again and see you soon for the demo!

Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers | Episode 2 and 3
Hello Vampire Survivors Crawlers!
Today we have a couple more episodes of Let's Explore Vampire Crawlers: one about a core gameplay mechanic, the Combo Multiplier, and another about the quirks and details of Character Selection.
Combo Multiplier
- Play cards in ascending mana cost to increase the Combo Multiplier and therefore multiply the effectiveness of every card. Use Wildcards to bridge the gaps and create insanely long chains!
Character Selection
- Every character comes with a different starting deck and base stats. As you progress through the game, you'll be able to have up to 3 characters in your party, so that you can always bring your favourite character without having to sacrifice stat boosts.

We’ve only scratched the surface of character selection! Stay tuned for our next update, where we dive deep into Character Cards and the mechanics of the Trigger system

Vampire Crawlers from the Vampire Survivors dev poncle gets a new trailer and upcoming demo

Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors is a bit of a mouthful isn't it? There's a new trailer to show it off, and details of a demo.

Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers | Episode 1
Hello Vampire Survivors Crawlers!
Today we're starting a little video series to put the spotlight on the main gameplay mechanics of Vampire Crawlers, starting with a duo of: the simplest mechanic (Turboturn) and possibly the deepest one (Card Customization).

https://youtu.be/-Ael4oMaKQM
The Turboturn!
- Turn-based combat without the wait: you don't have to pause for animations to complete before triggering your next move. The game stacks and executes your ability inputs with precision, allowing you to play at your own pace. Chaotic? Calm and thoughtful? Random-bullshit-go? Everything works, the results are accurate regardless of your preferred speed.
Card Customisation
- Gems allow you to customize your cards with a variety of effects, ranging from simple damage multipliers, to Weapon Evolutions, to head-scratching logic twists. Whether you want a simple power boost or deep strategic planning, Gems give every player the tools to create game-breaking combos.
The first playable demo will be available during the Steam Next Fest (and also on Xbox) on February 23rd! There will be the option to carry progress to the full game.
* While the demo is currently scheduled to launch on Steam and Xbox, the full version of Vampire Crawlers is planned to launch on Steam, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation5, and, shortly after, mobile.
Huge thanks to everyone for getting Vampire Crawlers to more than 200k wishlists!
Thank you all again and see you in the next news post!
