Equipment and installation of systems

Hello!

We hope you're still eagerly waiting for updates about the game! Today, we’re here with a small dose of information. This is, of course, due to the upcoming holidays, which left us with less time for the game. Nevertheless, we’re doing our best to push the game forward every single day.
BIOS – New Options
Let’s start with the BIOS. In the last update, we showed you a few options. Today, there are many more. Each option affects the functionality of the computer. For example, let’s take options like "Platform/Storage/Endorsement Hierarchy." If one of them is set incorrectly, you’ll get a blue screen with an error code.
Boot Menu
We’ve also added a boot menu, allowing players to install or repair the system using a pendrive with the OScypek system. Various additional boot options may also appear, but we’ll keep those a secret for now.
System Installation
System installation will be quite straightforward, with most data like country and time being static, so players can focus on other tasks. The installation itself won’t take long but will last about 2–3 minutes.
Inventory
Players can now open their portable backpack as well as their locker in the workroom. They can store a variety of items there.
Changes to the RACK Cabinet
Thanks to the new inventory system, we’ve added several changes to the RACK cabinets. Now, every disconnection adds a patch cord to your backpack. If you want to make a connection, you’ll need to have a patch cord in your portable backpack. Patch cords are located in the RACK room, so finding them shouldn’t be an issue. However, keep in mind that there are several floors and the option to connect subscriber sockets to computers.
A Few New Animations
We’ve also added a few new animations for computers, as well as notifications and more! Now, you can also increase and decrease the size of desktop icons.

Some news!

Hey, we're here with some news!
Over the past month, we have been working hard to meet our November goals. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get everything done on time… It’s worth mentioning that we’re making this game after work hours, and it's purely a hobby project.

We would also like to thank everyone who added the game to their wishlist! That's nearly 200 people. Thank you for the support! We hope not to disappoint you. Follow us on other platforms, as soon there will be a chance to test the game ːsteamhappyː
Network Infrastructure
Let's start with the network. The network is practically complete now. The only thing left is adding new types of devices—which won’t be a big problem. From now on, the network is working and has an external connection. If we don’t have a world connection, we’ll only be able to communicate within the company. There's also an option to disconnect switches, the router, and connect the patch panel with the switch. We couldn’t forget about user outlets and computers, either—you can disconnect them, too!
New Websites
We’ve introduced several new websites. Some are just extras with no impact on gameplay, but there are also some more important ones. We’ve started creating a switch management page—to access a switch’s page, you’ll need to enter its IP address. We also have a site called jobbly—a job listings page. It primarily includes IT job listings, providing an option to switch jobs to, for example, helpdesk.
Emails
We’ve also added several new types of emails, mainly informational ones regarding the new jobbly site. We fixed a bug that caused the delete button to appear in already deleted emails. From now on, email won’t work without a network connection.
Fasko OneConnect
We’ve added a new app, Fasko OneConnect. It’s a VPN, meant for connecting to specific company resources. It will also feature in several in-game tasks, including "installation requests."
Desktop and Application Appearance
We’ve made a few updates to the desktop, primarily to improve functionality, but there are some visual enhancements, too. Now, whatever is behind an app window will have a blur effect. Additionally, we improved the bottom bar—it now shows open and minimized apps in a better way. We also added basic information on the desktops, such as computer name, addressing, and connection info. Another network-related feature is that right-clicking the bottom-right corner will open some network details.
BIOS
We’ve added BIOS access under the F12 key during system startup, with several settings that can break the computer. Interestingly, we’re aiming to add around 120 settings to be configured. BIOS will be fully completed in the coming days, and work on the failure system will begin.
New Objects
We’re constantly adding new objects to the game. We place them on the scene and modify the main office layout. We’re trying to make everything look as professional as possible.
