Clean Stack Patch #1!

[p]Hola ! I tried to fix every issues you awesome people could find since yesterday, here is the changelog ![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Lowered NPC's voice volume[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where you could access an area you shouldn't access so early in the Level Selector[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some UI not showing up at the result screen in big box Levels[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a tiny data not saving properly at the end of the game[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an achievement not triggering in the exact right moment[/p]
  • [p]Nerfed 1-5 level to be easier to complete[/p]
  • [p]Nerfed 1-11 level to be easier to complete[/p][p][/p]
[h2]I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all![/h2][p][/p][p]As I write this, 5,000 people already own the game, and there are 100 unique players. WHA? I've received a lot of feedback in a day, either on Steam, Discord or anywhere else (even on Youtube! Videos about my game?! Woah). CLEAN STACK IS COMING OUT 5TH JANUARY !!!

[p]The big moment has arrived! Clean Stack will be released on January 5, 2026, and I'm very happy to finally be able to give you the date when you'll be able to play it.[/p][p][/p][p]First things first: Here's the trailer for the game's release. Secondly, the game demo is no longer available! I don't really see the point of leaving the demo up since the game will be released for the modest sum of $0.00. And I think I can say that the full version of Clean Stack is improved in every way compared to the demo.

[/p][h2]Why has there been no news for so long? What have you guys been doing?[/h2][p][/p][p]Well, working on the game! The past few weeks have been the busiest of my life. It was really tiring, but it was also amazing to finally finish everything and create an experience that could be played from start to finish.
My secret goal was to release the game before the end of the year, but to ensure that it is the best I could offer at launch (and to avoid being completely overshadowed by the Steam Winter Sales), it is preferable to wait a little bit longer.[/p][p][/p][p]I poured my heart and soul into this game. Although I know it's far from perfect, I believe I've created a game that is substantial enough to take a few hours to complete, yet varied and interesting enough.[/p][p]Thanks to Paรงoco and Quazquaz for helping me develop the game over the past few months. If the game as such quality its also because of you guys! [/p][p][/p][p]Happy holidays to everyone, and see you when the game will come out!

Well, 31,536,000 seconds (or one year, if you prefer ๐Ÿ™„) have passed since the release of Clean Stack (Gamejam version). A few weeks later, I started thinking about working on the game some more to turn it into a full Steam game. Now, a year later, the game is almost ready to be released!

To be honest, we worked harder over the last month to try and announce the release date on the birthday, but we are not exactly ready enough for this, as I am moving out during the week ! ๐Ÿ™‚

A lot of things happened for Clean Stack in the past year. I never expected I would have worked on the game for that long. I added much more than I originally imagined (Counting 1000+ hours of work for the 3 of us), but I also scrapped a lot of the ideas I had originally planned. I tried my best to make good choices and keep the best of the game while leaving the worst behind.

First of all, HUGE huge thanks to Quazquaz and Pacoco for working with me on the game all this time. We're not getting paid for this project, and it's sometimes hard to find the time to work on it in our free time. However, I still believe that we all have fun/learnt a lot from it, and that this project is a significant achievement for the three of us ! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

[h3]So, what's in store for the birthday ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ? Nothing! ๐ŸŽ‰ ๐Ÿ’ฅ ๐Ÿ’ฅ[/h3]

Okay, I lied; we have something in preparation. I will soon work on a video about Clean Stack, showing the improvements made to the game during development (Gamejam/Mid-development/Present) ! Hopefully some people will be interested about it ๐Ÿ˜„

And there's more! I've made some significant changes to the inventory that I think people will be interested in .
The picture showing the content in boxes now adapts to every item, making it clear and easy to see. In addition, the size of each item is specified in the description (items can be Small/Medium/Large).

I made sure this information is still present in Hard difficulty! This makes it less random and more about strategy, as you can plan which size of object you need at any given moment

What's going on here?

Hola, so after a bit of thinking, I think it's about time we say goodbye to Pandev for something new here! ๐Ÿ˜„

Pandev Studios was founded by a team of three people who worked on The Dark Fever. Since then, I am now the only one left working on new projects from the original group. In new projects the people who helped me were not related to Pandev. So it wasn't absolutely right to use 'Made by Pandev Studios' even if everyone has always been comfortable about it. ๐Ÿ˜„

I thought it was finally time to do something about this. From now on, the projects I work on will be credited under the name: Babeko. I think it is more right to see me as a solo developer then a studio! ๐Ÿ”ฅ
A huge huge thanks to the original team of Pandev Studios, it was amazing to build something together and it will be part of me forever for sure โค๏ธ

Just a quick note before I continue: the Discord server will be renamed "Babeko - Community". That doesn't mean I'm the only one working on my projects, though! I've made one tiny project alone, but all the rest have been made in teams who have done a huge amount of work to help me (Arts, Musics and more) ! So, think of this as a place/name to gather all my projects rather than the releases of a studio!

All of the previous games I made as Pandev Studios can still be credited as Pandev Studios or Babeko, you choose, Clean Stack will be the first game I will publish as Babeko fully! ๐ŸŽ‰

I took this opportunity to polish the Discord server a bit and to make all the changes on social medias (X and Bluesky) as well as Steam !

This is a big change and I feel like the spotlight is now more on me since I'm no longer "hiding" behind the name Pandev Studios. But it also feels refreshing, I feel far more represented!
