Happy Birthday Clean Stack ! ๐ŸŽ‰

Well, 31,536,000 seconds (or one year, if you prefer ๐Ÿ™„) have passed since the release of Clean Stack (Gamejam version). A few weeks later, I started thinking about working on the game some more to turn it into a full Steam game. Now, a year later, the game is almost ready to be released!

To be honest, we worked harder over the last month to try and announce the release date on the birthday, but we are not exactly ready enough for this, as I am moving out during the week ! ๐Ÿ™‚

A lot of things happened for Clean Stack in the past year. I never expected I would have worked on the game for that long. I added much more than I originally imagined (Counting 1000+ hours of work for the 3 of us), but I also scrapped a lot of the ideas I had originally planned. I tried my best to make good choices and keep the best of the game while leaving the worst behind.

First of all, HUGE huge thanks to Quazquaz and Pacoco for working with me on the game all this time. We're not getting paid for this project, and it's sometimes hard to find the time to work on it in our free time. However, I still believe that we all have fun/learnt a lot from it, and that this project is a significant achievement for the three of us ! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Okay, I lied; we have something in preparation. I will soon work on a video about Clean Stack, showing the improvements made to the game during development (Gamejam/Mid-development/Present) ! Hopefully some people will be interested about it ๐Ÿ˜„

And there's more! I've made some significant changes to the inventory that I think people will be interested in .
The picture showing the content in boxes now adapts to every item, making it clear and easy to see. In addition, the size of each item is specified in the description (items can be Small/Medium/Large).

I made sure this information is still present in Hard difficulty! This makes it less random and more about strategy, as you can plan which size of object you need at any given moment
