About the first DEMO...

[p]Hello, brothers![/p][p]I know many of you are eagerly awaiting the first HWB Demo, and honestly, I'm one of you, but unfortunately, it's not that close yet.[/p][p]There have been some delays due to development and personal difficulties, which have pushed me away from the deadlines I had set.[/p][p]Unfortunately, when you work alone, a personal slowdown slows down the entire project :D[/p][p][/p][p]However, no one here gives up![/p][p]No one gives up, gentlemen![/p][p]Before I get down to developing all the features needed for the Demo, I still have to finish a few features common to the entire game; for example, I'm currently developing the TV-guided missile system.[/p][p][/p][p]Since I prefer to know things in advance, I'd like to ask you a few questions about some aspects of the first Demo that could change the gaming experience.[/p][p]You'll have understood that I care about making a product as close to the end user as possible, which is why the end user needs to talk to me :D[/p][p][/p][p]Important clarification: multiplayer will not be available in any demo, but it will be in some tests I'll do over time, and I'll let you know.[/p][p]The reason is simple: money![/p][p]Although the game uses local hosts and not dedicated servers, the service I use to run multiplayer is paid, so I can't afford to include multiplayer in the demo—sorry, brothers.[/p][p][/p][p]1) Roughly speaking, at first glance, how do you imagine the gameplay of the first HWB demo would be?[/p][p][/p][p]2) What are the minimum elements that would make the demo acceptable for you?[/p][p][/p][p]3) I was thinking of only making the first weapon and vehicle unlocks available, meaning only those related to WW2. What do you think?[/p][p][/p][p]4) How many insect and dinosaur units would be enough for you? I was thinking about 4-5 land-based, 2 aquatic, and 1-2 flying? Are they enough? Obviously, the more I add, the longer the development time will last.[/p][p][/p][p]5) I was thinking of releasing two maps, both exclusive to the Demo, which would then be deleted. This way, they can be less polished and more easily modified according to your suggestions. My idea was to make one map in a home environment and another closer to the real Battlefield style, like an island, to better exploit the aquatic units.[/p][p][/p][p]6) I still have to see what the best gameplay form for HWB will be, but I was thinking of including at least two modes: one similar to Battlefield Conquest and the other to Battlefield Rush/Breach. Okay?[/p][p][/p][p]7) When will the first Demo be released? I sincerely hope before June 2026. As I said before, since I'm alone, if I have an impediment, the whole development process will be halted.[/p][p][/p][p]Unfortunately, this time I can't afford to make mistakes, so please help me with development and by spreading the game.[/p][p]If HWB doesn't sell enough to support me, Insane Dreamers will most likely close and I'll have to change careers.[/p][p]I'm working hard to prevent this from happening and to ensure we can have many, many more years of fun together![/p][p][/p][p]If you have any questions and/or suggestions, now is the perfect time to ask![/p][p][/p][h3]THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG![/h3]
