MEET the "Kaiser"!

[p]Hello, brothers![/p][p]Today, we're going back in time to bring you what was Germany's first tank pride in HWB, codenamed "Kaiser"![/p][p][/p][p]The Kaiser will be one of the game's first heavy tanks.[/p][p]It certainly won't be as well-armored and armored as its successors, but it will be an excellent mobile bunker in the early stages of battle.[/p][p]This tank will prove excellent against small enemies, as, protected by a thick layer of metal, soldiers inside will be able to use six 7.62 mm machine guns on three sides of the vehicle, while the driver can take advantage of the decent firepower of the 57 mm cannon mounted on the front.[/p][p]The Kaiser's bulky silhouette makes it fearsome, but at the same time vulnerable, as it can be easily hit.[/p][p][/p][p]I'm not sure how to arrange the crew at the moment. The two possible options are:[/p][p]1) 1 driver + 6 passengers (one machine gun each)[/p][p]2) 1 driver + 3 passengers (two machine guns each)[/p][p]1) 1 driver + 2 passengers (three machine guns each, i.e., one on each side).[/p][p]Which would you prefer?[/p][p]Consider that the more soldiers inside a vehicle, the fewer there will be outside as infantry.[/p][p][/p][p]In time, I'll show you more tanks from World War I, so stay tuned and you'll see some great stuff![/p][p][/p][p]Question 1: Would you prefer to play with vehicles from that era?[/p][p]1) WW1[/p][p]2) WW2[/p][p]3) Cold War[/p][p]4) Contemporary[/p][p]5) Partially Futuristic[/p][p][/p][p]Question 2: What type of ground vehicle (not artillery) do you enjoy playing most?[/p][p]1) Light tank[/p][p]2) Medium tank[/p][p]3) Heavy tank[/p][p]4) Anti-aircraft[/p][p]5) Anti-tank[/p][p]6) Anti-infantry[/p][p]7) Other, tell me your genre.[/p][p][/p][p]Please answer the questions so I can further adapt the game to your tastes.[/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the H-77 "Longshot" + Introducing DEFENSES!!!

[p]Hello, soldiers![/p][p]Today, we're talking about a different "category" than the usual vehicles in "Home Wars: Battlefield."[/p][p]In this game, the player can summon vehicles, aircraft, ships, and submarines, but what about defenses?[/p][p]We'll begin to delve into this unique sector, and we'll do so by introducing the new H-77 "Longshot"![/p][p][/p][p]It's almost always true that offense is the best defense, but sometimes the best defense is defense![/p][p]Imagine a small squad of riflemen in a fortress besieged by dozens of hungry insects. In this case, if the riflemen went outside to attack the enemies, they would be torn to pieces; conversely, building defenses would give them a better chance of survival.[/p][p][/p]
What are these defenses?
[p]There are different types of defenses, ranging from classic barbed wire to more robust barricades, or from small-caliber fixed emplacements to actual heavy artillery pieces, as in this case.[/p][p]Over time, if you follow the various MEETs, you'll learn what these defenses are.[/p][p]I'd also like to include a small set of plastic bricks, with which players can build basic fortified bases in battle.[/p][p]In any case, all defenses are static; at most, they can rotate.[/p][p]Each active defense, for now, will require a soldier (human or bot) to function.[/p][p]Players can purchase them like any other vehicle, except that they deploy immediately.[/p][p]I haven't yet decided whether construction will be instantaneous or whether players will need to use some sort of hammer to assemble them. What do you think?[/p][p][/p]
Let's get back to our H-77 "Longshot"!
[p]This artillery piece is a 155 mm howitzer, designed to hit enemies far away with high-explosive projectiles, using an indirect trajectory.[/p][p]It goes without saying that this artillery is defenseless at short range, which is why it's best to deploy it as far back on the battlefield as possible, so you can be protected by your allies.[/p][p]The further the shot, the longer the projectile's flight time, so consider slow, stationary, or crowded targets.[/p][p][/p][p]As you know, I'm a huge fan of long-range artillery, so I'll try to make sure you're not disappointed and give them as many options as possible![/p][p][/p][p]If you have any questions or suggestions about DEFENSES, please don't hesitate to ask; this is the perfect time to introduce changes to my ideas and improve everyone's gameplay![/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the MS-1 "Barracuda"!

[p]Hello, soldiers![/p][p]Today, I'm introducing you to a naval vessel belonging to a class now extinct in the military world, but which was a major innovation in the First and Second World Wars: the MS-1 "Barracuda" motor torpedo boat![/p][p][/p][p]The motor torpedo boat is a large vessel, just a few tons, capable of launching ordnance enough to bring an entire battleship to its knees![/p][p]The MS-1 "Barracuda" has four standard torpedoes, meaning they can only move in a straight line, and two turrets, either 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm; I haven't decided yet.[/p][p]This vessel's strong point is its mobility![/p][p]The Barracuda can quickly get within firing range of its own ammunition and out of range of enemy guns before its torpedoes even hit their target.[/p][p]The two turrets allow it to counter small surface enemies and some air threats, although the goal of the Barracuda pilot is always to avoid a prolonged engagement with the enemy.[/p][p][/p][p]As you may have guessed, the motor torpedo boat is a vessel highly specialized for its role: destroying ships much larger than itself with its deadly torpedoes.[/p][p]Get close to the enemy, calculate their course and speed, align yourself with their firing direction, drop your load, and get away as quickly as possible![/p][p]If you do all this, you'll be a nightmare for the opposing navy... otherwise, you'll be just another riddled wreck.[/p][p][/p][p]Do you have any suggestions?[/p][p][/p][p]One of my goals with "Home Wars: Battlefield" is to bring you vehicles, aircraft, and boats you can't find in other video games and allow you and your friends to use them as many times as you like![/p][p][/p][p]I'm having a lot of difficulty developing the multiplayer component, but your support is encouraging me to stick with it and not release the game as a simple single-player game![/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the UH-1 "Warhorse"!

[p]Hello, brothers![/p][p]Today, we return to the era of the legendary Vietnam War! What I'm featuring today is a widely used and now epic aircraft: the UH-1 "Warhorse"![/p][p][/p][p]This flexible and reliable helicopter was widely used in the Vietnam War and beyond.[/p][p]Its primary purpose was to transport personnel and material by air, thus avoiding the impenetrable terrain of the Vietnamese jungle.[/p][p]Although it was certainly not the most armored and powerful helicopter in the world, the UH-1 did its job admirably. Its versatility allowed it to provide, in some instances, close air support to ground troops using rockets and machine guns.[/p][p][/p][p]Personally, I've always liked this aircraft, but I think I began to love it after seeing the legendary "We Were Soldiers," so much so that that film inspires the name Warhorse.[/p][p][/p][p]In the game, this helicopter is obviously a means of air transport, with the addition of a couple of rocket pods to break up the monotony of the player piloting it and allow them to clear the landing zone before disembarking their men.[/p][p][/p][p]I'd like to make the role of transport vehicles more critical than in other shooters, so I look forward to your always helpful suggestions.[/p][p]One solution could be for the human player, piloting an aircraft or vehicle, to have the ability, with the press of a button, to board all nearby bots and disembark them (even in the air) with the press of another button.[/p][p]This way, the transport pilot can literally move troops wherever they want on the battlefield.[/p][p]What do you think?[/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the M2 "Vanguard"!

[p][/p][p]Hello, soldiers![/p][p][/p][p]Today, I bring you a vehicle that will surely please many, including myself; I present to you the M2 "Vanguard"![/p][p][/p][p]You can easily notice that the model on which this vehicle is based is the famous american Bradley.[/p][p]I still don't have a clear idea of how to fully develop this vehicle, so feel free to share your suggestions![/p][p][/p][p]Let's start by saying that it is an armored personnel carrier and support vehicle. Here, we immediately start with doubts, because I don't know whether to allow it to transport troops or focus its use on fire support.[/p][p]Its main weapon is an automatic cannon; I'm unsure whether to use a 20 mm, 25 mm, or 30 mm cannon. The reason for this hesitation is that if I use a 20 mm cannon, I could then use another vehicle, perhaps of Russian or Chinese origin, with a 30 mm caliber, but it's less mobile.[/p][p]It will certainly have a coaxial weapon, namely a 7.62 mm machine gun and a dual launcher for anti-tank missiles, probably wire-guided.[/p][p][/p][p]I'm not sure whether to add a second crew member equipped with a turret with a 7.62 mm machine gun or to leave the driver the only one armed.[/p][p][/p][p]As you can imagine, there's plenty of room for your suggestions here![/p][p][/p][p]Would you also like a vehicle I invented, similar to the Vaguard? If so, how would you imagine it? What weapons would you like to see on it?[/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
