The Wellness Update is here - Prepare your Chakras and the fire extinguisher
[p]We're excited to announce that version 0.3, the Wellness Update, is out. This is our first major content drop since we started Early Access. This update adds a whole new layer to your waterpark. You can create a zen-like retreat for guests to relax or, if you so wish, a place where turning a dial might just heat things up in some unexpectedly toasty ways.
[/p][h2]Path of Enlightenment[/h2][p]Once your park reaches 3 stars, a new character will appear. You'll need to leave the park and go have a chat with the Yogi, who sets you along the path of enlightenment. This is a line of 21 wellness-themed quests. Some of them will most certainly tax your thinking as you attempt to interpret the Yogi's words of wisdom, but each step that you complete earns you new items for your park.[/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]Finishing the full questline unlocks a large collection of new content. You will gain 9 new pools, 4 new slides, 5 new loungers, and 29 new decorations. The visual style of many of these items is so different that it can inspire a completely new park layout. There are also new mechanics to explore. Hot tubs and saunas give guests a relaxing break, for example, although adjusting the temperature a little too far can create quite a different experience.[/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]To help bring it all together, the update also introduces a range of new painting styles: marble textures, transparent slide materials, shiny metallic finishes, and several more. We accept no responsibility for any irresistible urges to repaint your entire park.[/p][p]![]()
[/p][h2]Hire more staff... at a cost[/h2][p]We also reworked the staff cap system. Many players asked for more flexibility if they so desired, and we are always happy to allow you guys to choose and play your way. So now you can hire staff above the previous limit. Going beyond this limit comes with an additional daily cost in the form of a tax, which turns staffing into a meaningful strategic choice rather than a hard restriction.

We are aware of a known issue where, under certain graphical settings, some of the transparent material (mainly the glass walls of the saunas and some painted tubes in slides) might look a bit different than planned. If you see this for now, you can change the video settings to high and then back to what you had, and it should fix it. [/p][p]We already have a possible solution, but we did not want to delay the launch today since it is not game-breaking and will only affect some.[/p][p]Thanks for your understanding
