[p]Today, we finally get to share with you the release date of the Wellness update (version 0.3) It arrives this Friday on the 28th, and we're super excited to let you dive into it very soon.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Included with the update, you'll notice a new face in the park. The image we're sharing today shows the location (no spoilers) of this special guide that will appear to those who have advanced in the game and will lead you to everything Wellness has to offer. They're the key to unlocking a whole collection of new items, and a couple of fresh mechanics that'll change the way you plan your park. We'll let you discover the details for yourselves, but we can confirm there are many new toys to play with, and four new achievements that tie directly to them.[/p][p][/p][h2]Steam Awards nomination[/h2][p]Since we are talking about celebrations, the Steam Awards are back, and we would be super grateful and happy if you consider nominating Waterpark Simulator for Best Soundtrack. [/p][p]Players keep telling us that they love the music, so this feels like the perfect fit. To make things even better, we will release the full soundtrack on all major music platforms very soon. If you like to chill to our park ambiance or if you need something more upbeat for your day, you'll finally be able to stream it wherever you want.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Staff limits reworked[/h2][p]Before we wrap up, there is one more thing we hope to slip into the update if all goes well. We have been working on a new system related to staff hiring limits. We want it to offer a real choice that caters to players who prefer a more hands-on style and for those who enjoy a more automated park. Our beta testers will be trying out a first version of it so we can see how it feels in practice and decide if it's ready for release or if it needs to be reworked. We know how much some of you want room for more staff, but we want to make sure the system is fun and meaningful rather than rushed. Wellness 0.3 Nears, a Daz-ling Visitor, and Saves Reinforced!

[p]The first major content update (0.3 Wellness) is right around the corner, much closer than you might think. Next Monday, we will announce the date of its release. But right now, as divided as we are in not spoiling any of the content, we also want to give you a small peek at what is coming up.[/p][p][/p][h2]WELLNESS[/h2][p][/p][p]Our team has been hard at work not only to create new items that will allow you to give a brand new look to your park, but also new game mechanics, new challenges, and even an entire questline, with 4 new Steam achievements coming up (there goes the perfect 100% achievements some have).[/p][p]But you are not here to read our yappings, you are here to see new stuff, so here you go (we won't explain what things are, as not to spoil too much until release) [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Ups, clumsy me just "accidentally" uploaded some behind-the-scenes from the multiplayer branch that we are working on for a later update (not 0.3) as well. Oh well, nothing I can do now.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]The new Daz-ling visitor[/h2][p]A new VIP easter egg visitor can appear in your park now. Meet Gaz. Just don't ask about the duck games.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]0.2.100[/h2][p]This is most likely the last update before 0.3 comes out. It was mainly backend preparation for the new stuff, but we also wanted to introduce some new safeguards to avoid saves being corrupted. From what we could see, this could happen in computers where the hard drive was a bit slower in writing the info and would not complete the save. We believe that between this and the 10 backup files, your save files are now safe from any problem. As usual, both our Discord and support email - [email protected] - are open to help you guys.

Haunted Waterpark Closed! GeForce NOW Open & Wellness Update on the Horizon!

[p]The time for the sun to set ...rise once again in your waterpark as we say goodbye to the Halloween visitors.
We sincerely hope you had fun with it, as at the end of the day that is our goal and what motivates us to carry on creating more and more content and seeing that the trust you put in us by supporting the game results in more fun and joy in your gaming life.

But not all is about things leaving. There is a couple of new things
[/p][h2]Geforce Now
[/h2][p]While the game currently only supports Windows PCs we definitely want to support other platforms and operating systems.[/p][p]But with our team size having this support right from the start of the Early access, would slow down our updates speed, as several builds would be needed at every update and they all would require testing.[/p][p]But many of you asked for a possible alternative and as such we been working with Nvidia and we are now avaiable to play in GeForce NOW.[/p][p]GeForce NOW unlocks the ability to play not only in more powerful windows machines than the one you might have via cloud but also to play even in currently non supported computer systems like Macs, Linux and others via the cloud.[/p][p]Jump in and start building the waterpark of your dreams from wherever you are! [/p][p]You can now play now on GeForce NOW and continue your progress seamlessly in the cloud.

Wellness update 0.3[/h2][p][/p][p]This will be our first big content update since launch (thus the change of version number from 0.2.xx to 0.3)
This update will include permanent content additions, new systems, new characters, some game balancing and lots of suprises for you all.
[/p][p] We are aiming to release the wellness update near the end of November (we will give you guys a more accurate date nearer to it) Untill then we will keep you in the loop by giving you some glimpses into some of things that are coming. and talking of glimpses here is the first one of some early work in progress[/p][p]
[/p][p]And yes we are also working (and testing it) on the next update 0.4 that will include multiplayer ;) [/p][h2]
New Steam artwork

Some of you might have noticed it already, but we have new artwork on Steam. This is because we want to keep supporting artists and let's face it, we all like to see new styles in our games promo art from time to time.[/p][p]This time we got the pleasure of working with Tenzin Lhamo ( @10scribbles in their socials). Not only did they produce a great work, but the process of using our own in game assets as part of it felt like magic. We will be publishing more behind the curtains of the creation process in our socials but here is a quick glimpse of it. [/p][p][/p][h2]
Patch notes for 0.2.97[/h2][p][/p][p]Last but not least here is the patch notes from this update. Mostly was to disable the halloween event but we did slip some fixes in there as well

Halloween extension

[p]Many of you have been asking for some extra time and since Halloween is the season of giving, we have extended the Halloween for an extra 48 hours (ending now on the 5th of November at 5 PM UTC ).

So use it to grab any missing candy to unlock any attraction you are missing.

(Note:We won't update the game for the extension so you will see the timer going into negative. You got untul the -48hours )

And if you had enough Halloween, remember you can disable it in the settings by turning off seasonal events.


Merry Halloween.... What do you mean we might be confusing Halloween with Christmas?
PS - Be ready for some updates about 0.3 and other stuff at the end of this extension[/p]

[p]Just some bug fixes for some staff issues. Nothing with stats but some of this you guys reported them so we dug into what could be causing them and they should be fixed
