The newest update for Conquest Tactics: Realm of Sin has arrived, bringing exciting new features, refined balance, and numerous quality-of-life upgrades. Thanks to your feedback, v1.0.2 makes tactical combat sharper, worldmap progression deeper, and the overall experience smoother and more rewarding.
[/p][p]⚔️ Gameplay
Backdoor Protection – Battle Flags on both sides now repel nearby enemies at the start of each turn, stopping overwhelming rushes and giving players room to counterattack.
Movement Rule – Units can move into adjacent tiles even without ally support, fixing situations where a lone survivor couldn’t reach the enemy flag.
Threat Levels – Streamlined to 5 effects, keeping challenges clear and impactful.
Max CP Boost – Increased slightly to accelerate late-game pacing and reduce stalemates.
Battle Flag Buff – Base HP increased for both player and enemy flags.
Unit Balance Pass – Many units adjusted to keep battles fairer and more tactical.
New Locations – Additional areas added to broaden exploration.

Difficulty Selection – Players can now choose the starting difficulty before each run.
Three difficulties unlocked by default (previously 2).
Early nodes tweaked for smoother starts.
Port travel costs slightly increased for balance.
Sanctuary merged into Church for easier use.
Church Units – Recruiting units at the Church now requires spending Boons equal to their cost.
Character Select Screen – Improved with richer lore and clearer details.
Crown Rewards – Even in defeat, players earn Crowns from difficulty and victories, which can be invested in Permanent Upgrades to grow stronger each run.
New Enemy Hordes – More squad types to test your strategies.
New Events – Additional encounters and scenarios to experience.
Shop & Treasure Overhaul:
 – Black Market → Curse gear only
 – Blacksmith → Equipment only
 – Tavern → Consumables only
 – Treasure → All item types

• Improved use of special abilities for tougher opposition.
• Faster, sharper decisions create more engaging battles.

Commanding Controls – Cancel easily with ESC or by clicking empty space.
Unit Swapping – Click another unit while Commanding to switch instantly.
Auto-Cancel – Trying to play a unit without enough CP will now cancel the action automatically.
Codex System – Track and collect lore, units, and items, with indicators for what you’re still missing.
Settings Menu – Cleaner layout with more customization options.
Improved Placement – Lower unit drag height makes positioning clearer and more accurate.
New Shortcut – Rotate units with the middle mouse wheel during Commanding.
New Language Support (beta) – Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean added.

[p]A fresh update is here for Conquest Tactics: Realm of Sin, bringing major improvements to combat flow, balance, and overall gameplay experience. Built in response to valuable player feedback, v0.9.9 continues to refine the tactical challenge and make every decision on the battlefield more impactful.[/p][p][/p][p]⚔️ Highlights of This Update:
Smaller Battlefield Size – Maps have been tightened up, leading to faster movement and more intense clashes. Attack zones around the Command Flag are now narrower, preventing overwhelming rushes from the AI.
Controlled Spawn Zones – All Locations now have defined spawn points (center, top-center, and bottom-center), eliminating unfair placements like the notorious Lighthouse issue.
Turn Order Adjustment – The second player no longer receives a +1 max Command Point at the start. This change helps balance early board control, giving the first player more breathing room while keeping the game competitive.
Worldmap Node Tweaks – Travel paths have been rebalanced for smoother exploration across all routes.
Enemy Squad Rebalance – AI squads with low-cost units have been toned down for a more manageable early challenge.
New Salvage System – Dismantle unused gear into gold and free up inventory space with this long-requested feature.
Black Market Overhaul – A risky new twist: trade your own Life Points for rare items. A dark bargain, but sometimes worth it.
UX/UI Improvements – Game interface has been polished, including a better inventory window and easier access to the deck and discard pile views.
Enhanced Tutorial Flow – The tutorial has been restructured for better clarity, now supported with animated visuals to guide new players more smoothly.
Improved Localization – Various descriptions and UI texts have been refined for better clarity and language support.

We’re back with another update to the Conquest Tactics: Realm of Sin demo! Thanks to your continued feedback and support, v0.9.8 brings exciting new features, deeper strategy, and more polish than ever before.

🔥 Updates & Improvements:
• Injury Status System – Characters who fall in battle now gain an injured status. If they fall again while injured, they’ll be removed from combat. This helps shorten overly long battles and keeps the pace more intense.
• Refined Worldmap Nodes – The Worldmap has been reworked for better pacing and more player choices during exploration.
• Improved Combat Indicators – It’s now easier to see unit facing and attackable tiles at a glance with enhanced directional indicators.
• Save & Continue System – You can now save your progress and return later without starting over.
• Resolution and Display Options – Added screen resolution settings and full screen/windowed mode toggles for better visual customization.
• Joy Controller Support – Plug in and play with full controller support!
• Language System Added – Translation system is now in place, and Thai language support has been added!
• Bug Fixes – Tons of issues squashed for smoother gameplay and better performance.
