We REINVENTED cockpit interactions so they feel GREAT to use
[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]One of the things our players liked in Alaskan Road Truckers were the cockpit interactions. You could look at a button in the cab and press it. To make it easier to find these buttons when driving, we created the cockpit interaction menu where you use D-pad to switch between different buttons. But, these weren't perfect: you never knew the "path" to your preferred interaction, so it might require trial and error - and also it wasn't the quickest menu ever.[/p][p]For Road Truckers: New Beginning, we set ourselves a goal of making them easier, smoother, and more friendly. We created an interaction menu inspired by old radio panels.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]We have three levels of interactions: driving, safety and comfort. On each level, there are all interactions related to each aspect of driving. When you select an interaction, your camera points automatically at the interaction of your choice, so you don't have to look for it with the camera.[/p]

- [p]Driving interactions are related, well, to driving: it's about turning the engine on and off, switching the handbrake etc.[/p]
- [p]Safety interactions help you adjust to the road conditions, so these include switching the lights, let you lean out the window, switch the differential lock etc.[/p]
- [p]Finally, comfort interactions let you simply drive more comfy, with the radio on or off, with the sun visor up or down, etc.[/p]
