Personally I love interesting tidbits in history. When studying history, the quote “Truth is stranger than fiction.” makes sense a lot. Also these kinds of irregular happenings in history ends to be from war or crises. This maybe why war history is steady-seller in history books.

‘Army and Strategy’ is a case where these critical moments are told by a strategy game. At first you will be hooked by it’s unique art and character designs. As you play the scenarios regarding the historical events it will feel like grandfather telling old stories.

Perhaps one of the strengths of this game is that it combines history with a modern taste. In fact, there have been several attempts that tried to make users laugh by all the parodies in the game. And this game has mastered this perfectly. It's not easy to deal with all these dialogues nor is it easy to express things in SD character. However ‘Army and Strategy’ has very immersive and interesting stories and it makes us laugh quite a lot.

And most of all, the best thing about ‘Army and Strategy’ was it’s system that used the political and religious situations of the time. In fact, from the middle ages till modern times, Europe had a lot of conflicts regarding politics and religion. In most of these cases war were superficial. It like watching the political conflict in the Game of Thrones, and you can solve them by using such means. For example, In religious meetings you can denounce your enemies as a heretic then vote on them. And while the vote is being cast, you show your holy relic to emphasize your righteousness, so that your opponents will be branded as a heretic.One by one, you dominate by removing your opponents.
