Still, in case you're not familiar with our sci-fi, roguelite autoshooter where you'll salvage and augment weapons to become a fleet-leveling cosmic killing machine in a war-torn, procedurally generated galaxy, inspired by renowned titles such as Vampire Survivors and Faster Than Light, and slated for a late 2025 Early Access release, we've prepared a brief trailer to get you up to speed.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Phenomenal! Now that we're on the same page, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and touch on our plans for Starforged Legacy.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Why Early Access[/h2][p]Starforged Legacy will release in Early Access predominantly feature-complete. We'd like to allow some time post-release to balance and patch the game in response to the feedback we receive, and retain the potential for additional content, similarly influenced by reception.[/p][p][/p][p]In fact, you can influence the development of Starforged Legacy right now! By requesting access to the Starforged Legacy playtest on our Steam page, you may be granted access to our beta when it's published, allowing you to experience the whole game as it currently stands in development—all we ask for in return is your feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]Join our community Discord to stay up-to-date on when these playtests will take place and how we'll collect player insights![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]About Second Shift Games[/h2][p]We're a small, independent collective of industry veterans working on games in our free time, hence the name 'Second Shift'. As avid players ourselves, we're focused on creating the kind of experience we (and of course, you) would like to play. We're committed to a development cycle that's heavily influenced by community feedback and unburdened by the need to rush to market.[/p][p][/p][p]While Starforged Legacy is our first title, we're optimistic that it won't be our last.
