skate. Season 2
[p]Welcome to skate.’s Season 2, starting Dec 2, 2025, and running until March 3, 2026!
Before we dive into Season 2’s details, a quick reminder of what you can expect each Season in San Vansterdam: [/p]
Hit the new rooftop areas we’re dropping in Season 2.
We’ve dug deep into the San Van bedrock to open up the Eelside Tunnels.[/p]
What is in Season 2?
[p][/p][p]'Tis the Season to throw down with friends, and San Van is better with your pals; that’s where the new co-op mode and Party voice chat really shine. Additionally, the city will undergo a makeover, featuring new, updated skateable areas that will remain after Season 2: the Casper Hotel Rooftop, Eelside Tunnel, Museum of Natural History Roof Patio, and Canal Building, as well as our first improvements to the Replay Editor, new and improved tricks, our second World/Visual pass and our first character visual pass, and more.[/p][p][/p]
New Features and Improvements
[p][/p][p]Every season, we update the city, but with Season 2, we’re bringing our second World visual pass, our first Character pass, and Pedestrian improvements. We’re also introducing three new hairstyles and two new facial hair options, and expanding the 'what-to-do' in San Van by adding new Challenges and Missions. Quick note: No, your hearing isn’t going, but we did reset Audio Volume settings to default at the beginning of this season to allow easier boosting of music volume through the Toolbar.[/p][p][/p]
New Mode for skate.
[p]
Welcome to Own the Lot. Inspired by a classic from the series, skate.’s OTL pushes players to complete as many Reqs as possible within a set time limit. To knock out all the Reqs, make sure you collaborate and communicate with your party. This mode is all about teaming up with friends, taking on shared challenges, and owning the streets together.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p]You’ll be able to have groups of 1-4, but it’s definitely intended for at least two players, working to complete as many Reqs as possible within the time limit you set (2-5 minutes). The more Reqs you complete before the time expires, the higher your reward tier. [/p][p]The reward tiers are as follows:[/p]
It ain’t a party without Party Voice Chat, and we’re bringing it to San Van. Check out the FAQ dropping on December 3 on Party VC for instructions on setting it up, using the features, and more. Plus, we’re introducing accessibility features for Party VC, including Menu Narration, Text-to-Speech, and Speech-to-Text-to-Text. We have even more party voice chat enhancements in the works to keep the good vibes rolling all season long.[/p][p]We’re also adding Party Beacons via the Comms Wheel to let you drop a beacon in the world to make it easier to signal for and join parties. Once you’ve joined a party, your beacon will clear, and the Party Beacon will clear when the party is full. [/p][p][/p]
New & Improved Tricks
[p][/p][p]Season 2 is bringing Impossibles (for the first time in a Skate game), as well as Improved and Expanded Handplants to San Van. Adding these to your repertoire will make you stand out in San Van, so make sure to check the Skatepedia update for details on how to throw them down in a sesh. [/p][p]New Flip Tricks[/p]

[/p][p]
[/p]
Replay Editor
[p]Our first improvements for the Replay Editor will add an Advanced Editor Mode. This will bring enhanced trimming, keyframes, interpolating between camera types & camera targets, and framing options like roll, tilt, and offset. And we’re not done yet, with even more replay upgrades on the way to level up your clips even further.[/p][p][/p][p]
Dive in. We can’t wait to see the content you create with the new replay editor features, so share it with us on social and community channels, or drop your videos on skate.REEL for a chance to be featured on our carousel.[/p][p][/p]
New Settings
