v0.72.0 - Shiny Goldfish, Better farms

Introducing the shiny goldfish! At level 5, the goldfish will glow.



Pets will be able to be fed and level up in future! The pet info box now shows the pet level and a star besides maxed level pets.

I added goldfish as a meme pet that gives a normal bonus effect, but I didn't realise that in a specific strategy, it actually becomes a powerful asset when fully leveled up. So I've decided to make it shine at max level. Other pets might change appearance at max level - I would personally love a purple turtle. (hey it rhymes!)



Veggie farms have also been buffed, and their description of feeding 3 settlers when they actually fed 1.5 was previously misleading - even though veggies do indeed restore 3x hunger, the farms producing them work twice as slow). However, in order to not make them weaker, in this new update, they now feed 2 people with the new durations.



I've also made other fixes. Full changelog:
  • Veggie farms work faster: 20s -> 15s
  • Veggie farm description fixed: 3 -> 2 settlers
  • Grant 1 amulet if entering home island with starting fence and no research
  • Add 'Turrets can only shoot in front' to turret descriptions

Changelog:

v0.71.0 - Trading improvements, optimizations

v0.71.0 is released, making changes to the trader.



I was watching CG Plays play Stormbridge and noticed he got confused between 'Tooth' and 'Trading Token'. It also wasn't clear when you were giving away items and not getting anything back.

So firstly, I changed the name of the primary currency to 'Coin'.



Secondly, the confirmation dialog shows you are giving away items for free if you did not select an item to buy.



Thirdly, the row showing the coin glows a different colour from the rest and has an animation.



Lastly, 'Trading Token' will now only appear after visiting the Home Island, or on the second trade onward on the first run (past 200m).

v0.70.1 - Rewards when losing

I want the game to reward you EXP and items even when you lose against the first storm, so the game has been changed to give rewards even if you lose, I hope this encourages progression and makes it feel like you progress despite the outcome!



- When losing to first storm, you now get EXP and rewards instead of returning to menu
- Fix settler counts overflow at 9999/9999
- Fix professions UI disappearing when settler is un-trained
- Fix settler playing walk animation when idle due to CPU overload
- Fix charcoal efficiency research visual text error
