  • [p]Fixed an issue where Weapon Mutation Milestones granted incorrect rewards.[/p]

[p]Hi Funguys,[/p][p]We’re addressing some of the bugs with the release of the Starpath Update.

  • [p]Fixed an issue where the player could dash infinitely with Dash Skills in certain cases.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Grass Slash effect lasting longer than intended.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed incorrect or duplicated additional descriptions on Grass Slash and Lightning Speed mutations.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a Card Library UI issue affecting certain localizations.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Star Path reward panel animations not completing properly in some cases.[/p]

[p]HEY Funguys![/p][p][/p][p]Welcome to the December 2025 Funguys Swarm Dev Update![/p][p]Our third major update, the Starpath Update, will go live on December 17 at 6:00 PM PST.[/p][p][/p][p]In this blog, we'll go over Steam capsule redesign, Shroomba and Ersa redesign, the progression overhaul, 6 new dash skills, 2 new skills, 5 treelings, and 3 new relics.[/p][p][/p][h2]Steam Capsule Redesign[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p]The new character, “NUTCASE,” is now featured on the capsule, and the vibe is more chaotic than ever.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Shroomba and Ersa Redesign[/h2][p]\[Shroomba, why so serious?][/p][p][/p][p]We felt Shroomba and Ersa are too plain and cute for the new vibe we're aiming for, so we gave them a more fierce look.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Starpath Improvements (Progression Overhaul)[/h2][p][/p][p]We hear you folks. Lots of you think the game is fun, but it's too short. Well, we're changing all that. We're revamping our entire achievement progressions![/p][p][/p][p]We’re completely revamping the achievement progression system.
[/p][p]Previously, Starpath had 56 achievements. With this update, we’re adding 47 new achievements, bringing the total to 103 achievements to unlock.[/p][p][/p][p]The new progression gives you clearer goals to work toward, more milestones to chase, and rewards that feel more meaningful based on how far you’ve progressed.[/p][p][/p][p]Because this is a major change, all resources will be refunded for existing save files, so you can re-engage with the new system from a clean slate.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]6 New Dash Skills[/h2][p]We're introducing not one, not two, but six new dash skills and two new skills!
Here are some of them:[/p][p][/p][h3]Burrow Down:[/h3][p]\[Social distancing, but with dirt][/p][p]Your dash is replaced with a dig. On dash, you burrow underground and move forward until you emerge, dealing damage and knockback.[/p][p]
[/p][h3]Midnight Ghosts: [/h3][p]\[Ghosted][/p][p][/p][p]Your dash is replaced with ghost mode. On dash, you spawn a shadow-self and become an invulnerable ghost for a duration.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Savage Fists:[/h3][p]\[Talk to the fists][/p][p][/p][p]On cooldown, you spawn 2 fists that punch forward, dealing damage and knocking back enemies.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]5 New Treelings[/h2][p]\[Marathony is my favorite][/p][p][/p][p]We know you like the cute treelings, here, have some more:[/p]
  1. [p]Bounty: After you kill an Elite, level up some of your Skill Cards.[/p]
  2. [p]Clutteroni: Breakables now have a chance to explode, dealing area damage.[/p]
  3. [p]Smarty: During a run, Mecha now charges faster.[/p]
  4. [p]Protectron: You gain Stone Heart at the start of the run; each blocks 1 instance of damage before it’s destroyed.[/p]
  5. [p]Marathony: You gain a stack of movement speed bonus every time you reach a certain distance.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][h2]3 New Relics[/h2][p][/p][p]We just added 3 new relics:[/p]
  1. [p]Commoncap: For every Common weapon upgrade card you have, you deal +5% more damage.[/p]
  2. [p]Dashspores: You gain +2 Dash Charges, but your dash cooldown is increased by 25%.[/p]
  3. [p]Hellcap: Each Fire Curse gives you a +10% damage boost, but HP Drops now expire after 6 seconds.[/p]
