Hell of Fear: Mind Breach Joins Next Fest with It's New Demo!
[p]Hello,[/p][p]As Abyss Assembly, we are very happy to share our demo with you in this wonderful event where indie developers can truly shine, like the Next Fest. Our current demo actually covers the first 30–40 minutes of the game. Since the full version of the game is expected to last around 6–8 hours, the demo only shows a small portion of the content :) The reason this demo is “new” is because we are constantly updating enemy models and adding new mechanics to the game.[/p][p]Your feedback is extremely important to us. We will continue to develop the game based on the comments we receive. As the game stands out with its similarities to Immersive Sim and Survival Horror genres, we are particularly looking forward to your suggestions regarding balancing and mechanics.
[/p]
What’s next for Hell of Fear: Mind Breach?
[p]We can say that Hell of Fear is actually very close to its release. Our main plan is to launch the game in the early weeks of December. The game has generally completed its development process. In this remaining time, we will be focusing on improving the story elements and balancing the new mechanics we’ve added.[/p][p]We’ve redesigned nearly all of the enemy models in the game. Only one enemy remains to be updated: the eight-eyed creature with tentacles in its mouth. While we like its appearance, we think it looks a bit weak compared to the other redesigned models. We will replace it in the full release.[/p][p]As for new mechanics, we’ve added a sledgehammer and an Upgrade Station to the game. The balancing process for these two is still ongoing, but we believe they are strong additions that make the gameplay more engaging. We’ve also made some adjustments to the rifle: it now has a higher fire rate but deals less damage.[/p][p]We look forward to sharing more updates with you soon. Until then, feel free to join our Discord and share your feedback with us :)[/p][p]Take care![/p]
