🚨 Sprint 7 Update

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]Welcome back to another Raiders Rise dev update - and a big thanks to all of you following our development journey. We’ve got a packed one this sprint, so let’s dive right in:[/p][p]
[/p][p]⚙️ Meta[/p]
  • [p]Top Menu Bar Rework - Now fully gamepad-ready for smoother navigation.[/p]
  • [p]Battle Pass & Missions - Work continues on these progression systems.[/p]
  • [p]Lobby, Friends & Matchmaking UX - We’ve been squashing bugs and making steady improvements to ensure everything feels intuitive and responsive.[/p]
[p][/p][p]💥 Core Gameplay[/p][p]Big steps forward with our next two playable characters: Snowbird and River![/p][p]Snowbird[/p]
  • [p]Basic - Snowbird basic attack is implemented and feels great![/p]
  • [p]Ultimate - His ultimate slows nearby enemies and grants a personal shield.[/p]
  • [p]Skill - Snowbird creates ice clones to confuse and distract enemies - perfect for sneaking past them! [/p]
[p]River[/p]
  • [p]Basic - Implemented, with a twist: his last bullet bounces around the level before reloading![/p]
  • [p]Ultimate - Placeholder implemented, when we do the final pass you’ll see he equips his sword when the ultimate is activated. [/p]
[p]Level Expansion[/p][p]Early versions of Level 1 for both Planet 2 and Planet 3 are now roughed out and ready for internal testing. The world is expanding![/p][p]
[/p][p]🧑‍🚀 Characters [/p][p]The character team has been hard at work this sprint:[/p]
  • [p]Snowbird and River - models are nearly complete and ready for integration.[/p]
  • [p]Korin - a melee-centric character, is getting special treatment with new workflow tests to support his unique combat style.[/p]
  • [p]Nikky - To speed things up without sacrificing quality, we’re transferring base animations from River to Nikky.[/p]
  • [p]River -  VFX moodboarding is underway, giving us a glimpse at the visual direction Alex is taking.[/p]
  • [p]Sky - our 10th character is in early concepting![/p]

[/p][p]🌍 Environment Art[/p]
  • [p]Wall & Maze Levels - The last two levels of planet 1 are almost ready for internal testing! [/p]
  • [p]Planet 1 Polishing - Level polish continues across the board, helping bring a more lived-in, reactive feel to each environment.[/p]
