Update 31: Paratroopers, NPCs Reload, Service Uniform Soldiers, Interactables!

  • [p]Paratroopers: Based on US Airborne paratroopers during WW2; They carry M1 Carbines, have more health, accuracy, and do more damage than the normal soldier. They have rings on their heads similar to paratrooper toys! [/p][p]Individual paratroopers can be found in the Units menu, or dropped from a C47 plane if spawned from Paradrop in Support menu or Target Marker.[/p]
  • [p]Bomber Zombies: Has a firecracker on their back, will run at enemies and explode when in proximity. Has Orange and normal zombie variants. [/p][p](Has been in tester builds since end of last week but hadn't announced it until now.)[/p]
  • [p]Service Uniform Soldier: Soldier wearing ceremonial uniform. Carries default m16 for now. Will later have an M1 Garand Service Uniform Soldiers. [/p][p]Will salute if AI is turned off.[/p][p][/p]
[h3][/h3][p][/p][h3]Interactables[/h3]
  • [p]Cleaner spray added to levels! Can be picked up to deal damage when sprayed at units. [/p]
  • [p]Edible food added to Kitchen![/p]
[h3]New Weapons[/h3]
  • [p]Reloadable M60, Machine Pistol, Sten, Cadet Pistol and Burst Pistol![/p]
  • [p]M60 has belt feeding animation! (Note: We are considering a more involved M60 reload, it has a basic reload for now.)[/p]
  • [p]Reloadable M2 Browning and Reloadable M60 Turret. (Was in last update but was not announced) [/p]
[h3]Other Additions & Changes[/h3]
  • [p]NPCs can now reload their weapons![/p]
  • [p]Squad Leaders have Sergeant insignia on their helmets.[/p]
  • [p]Pistol wielding soldiers now carry their guns one handed instead of two handed, which is more accurate to the time period of existing toy soldiers' eras.[/p]
  • [p]M60 reloadable now has pullback arm.[/p]
  • [p]RPD firing now has bullet belt animation.[/p]
  • [p]Cadet team color fixed to be lighter than normal soldiers again.[/p]
  • [p]Optimization to NPC projectiles and impact effects.[/p]
