The Halloween Update! (Update 30)

  • [p]The Bathroom (Halloween) - The aftermath of the assault on Bluehemoth Research Base. Hold out as long as you can against the Undead horde... For the Emperor![/p]

  • [p]Orange Zombies added and unlocked by default. They are their own unit at the bottom of the Unit list.[/p]
  • [p]Orange zombies can turn soldiers into zombies.[/p]
  • [p]Soldiers stand back up as zombies when killed if infected.[/p]
  • [p]It is NOT advised to get within biting range of these guys...[/p]

  • [p]Three unlockable guns added to Halloween version of Bathroom: The Commonwealth Typewriter, The Spectre SMG, and the L85! Bring one of the light sources with you on your search for these! [/p]

  • [p]The save system has been overhauled to make corruption of saves much more unlikely! This overhaul means your saves were moved to the new system. If you have any problems, reply in this thread and we will reach out to you.[/p]
  • [p]Re-enabled normal grabbing of reloadable mags (was only grabbable via the trigger button previously)[/p]
  • [p]There are tons of changes under the hood of the game that aren't visible to players yet, but you will know the significance of within the next couple months![/p]

[h3] Although only being announced now, this update was released last night right before midnight in celebration of the game's first launch one year ago on October 14th at 11:40 pm PST (the game was initially launched on standalone headsets). Prior to the game's launch, me and the other devs were in a tough spot and PBG was our last hope, we only hoped to get by to pay for food and rent using the game's income. Since the release, the game has reached critical success, blowing away expectations, and now we're in a position to really kickstart our game development dreams! [/h3][p][/p][h3]We used that success to port the game over to Steam where you are now playing the game. We’ve been a bit tied up with a number of things so the update took longer than we anticipated, but we're now back at our usual pace!
