They won’t even be human anymore in a couple of days.[/p][p] [/p][h2]Today, in our first dev diary, we reveal one of the key tools that will help you uncover the truth—or seal a survivor’s fate: the Neurological Hammer.
[/h2][h2]What Is the Neurological Hammer?[/h2][p]This isn’t your average medical instrument—it’s a lifeline for diagnosing survivors and uncovering hidden infections in a world where every decision matters. Strike a limb, and the survivors reaction will tell you all you need to know: [/p]
  • [p]Zero/Low Response? The limb is likely dying. Weak reflexes mean decay… or worse, infection.[/p]

  • [p]Normal Response? For now, they’re safe. For now.[/p]
[p][/p]
  • [p]High Response? Overactive nerves scream of pain, disease—or something beneath the skin.[/p]
[p][/p][p]But beware: misuse has consequences. Hit non-target zones (like the head or torso), and you’ll face financial penalties, or you might even end up with an involuntary manslaughter charge.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][h2]Why It Matters[/h2][p]In the Quarantine Zone, the tools at your disposal aren't about healing. It’s about triage. The Neurological Hammer forces you to make decisive calls: [/p]
  • [p]Is that limp just a fracture… or the first sign of the deadly plague?[/p]
  • [p]Is heightened sensitivity to pain or nerves showing a possible illness or sign of an infection?[/p]
