Patch 0.31.3

IMPROVEMENTS:
  • We have finally unlocked the technology to display the weapon tags in the weapon's stat block (in the stat panel). Blessed be their names.
  • Added a meta currency ("Metacium") multiplier on higher difficulty levels.
  • The player is now invincible (title card) during the boss' death sequence, and for a short while (0.5s) after.
  • The boss' death animation delay has been slightly shortened to better match the pacing of the sequence.
  • Shortened the time it takes for the EXP & Health pickups dropped by the boss to reach the player, in order to increase the likelihood the heal will save them from imminent death.
  • Re-arranged the sorting order of most weapon visuals in order to create a clearer visual hierarchy (for example, the fire trail is now rendered behind all other projectiles).
  • The weapon frames are now displayed in the shop (and in the black void of level ups that appears before the shop).
  • Added diminishing return to screen shake so you don't get sick while inside a swarm of bugs.

BALANCE CHANGES:
  • Increased bomb thrower base explosion radius (from 6 to 7) and proximity trigger radius (from 4 to 5).
  • Buffed the laser pistol's "Velocity Overdrive" augment and improved the wording of its description.
  • The bubble gun's "Sentient Plasma" augment (aka homing bubbles) now also grants +30% Projectile Speed, enabling the interaction with the "Static Plasma" augment (which causes the bubbles to stop moving). Taking both augments will now lead to a total of x0.3 projectile speed.
  • Increased the homing bubbles' rotation speed.
  • Increased the projectile speed bonus of the bubble gun's "Experimental Plasma Charger" augment from 50% to 75%.

BUGFIXES:
  • Fixed bug which set the Static Field's scale to 0 at the start of a new level (causing it to "disappear").
  • Hopefully fixed a rare bug that disabled the grappling input after defeating the boss.
  • Fixed tutorial pop-ups appearing over the pause menu.
  • Fixed several bugs with the Capitalist Programming gadget.
  • Fixed music not starting when you start a new run after winning.
  • Fixed sound settings not saving your previous preferences.
  • Fixed enemies having the cold effect on them when they spawn.
