EA Update 3: A Fresh Coat of Paint (Part 1)

Hey There, Slingbots!
[p]We have a smaller patch for you today, but that's because we cooked something for you that simply couldn't wait in our oven any longer![/p][p][/p][h3]Introducing: Weapon Arms![/h3][p]To make your bug-squashing experience ever more awesome, most* of your weapons will now hover around you, to personally deliver robot-justice to your buzzing foes![/p][p][/p][p]*With the exception of "Orbital" weapons (Rotaser, Orbital Saws) and "Aura" weapons (Static Field, Fire Trail), which simply begged to remain on the player itself ;)[/p][p][/p][h3]Improved Visual Clarity[/h3][p]We also increased the size of the player, the enemies, and their projectiles, in order to improve the visual clarity of the game and reduce some of the disorienting chaos we heard in many of your feedbacks :)[/p][h3]
Enhanced Combat Feedback[/h3][p]In addition to the weapon arms, we also improved the VFX and SFX of hitting and killing enemies, to make every bug squashed ever more punchy and satisfying![/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p]As you may have noticed, this is Part 1 of our visual update!   • [p]Added floating weapons to some weapons with funky spring-like movement for extra style.[/p]
  • [p]Increased player size to make spotting your Slingbot easier when the screen is swarming with enemies.[/p]
  • [p]Increased enemy sizes for better visibility during intense battles.[/p]
  • [p]Improved hit and death effects for enemies to make combat feel more impactful.[/p]
  • [p]Made enemy projectiles bigger so theyโ€™re easier to notice and dodge.[/p]
  • [p]Added particle effects when projectiles are destroyed for extra visual feedback.[/p]
  • [p]Upgraded visuals for Laser Pistol, Shotgun, and Cross Rifle projectiles.[/p]
  • [p]Improved in-game UI to block less of the gameplay screen.[/p]
  • [p]Made the grappling hook line thicker for better clarity.[/p]

  • [p]Bomb Dropper now targets the closest enemy for better effectiveness.[/p]
  • [p]Bomb Sack now deals more damage and explodes much faster.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the speed of fast enemies but slightly reduced their health for better balance.[/p]

  • [p]Improved grappling hook mechanics to feel more consistent, added more accurate hit prediction, and introduced aim assist for easier usage.[/p]
  • [p]Increased grappling hook pull force for snappier movement.[/p]
  • [p]Enhanced the sound effect when picking up experience orbs for better feedback.[/p]
